Two easy crafts for this cold day!
Different color thread. *I used cross-stitch thread.
Thread bobbin: Take a small amount of glue and place a dot near the end of your toothpick. Then place your thread and wind it around until you reach your desired look. Take another small dot of glue and glue your loose thread end down. Cut off your mini bobbin and move onto the next one! It's as simple as that, wrap and clip!
Take your piece of ribbon and tape down both ends getting the ribbon as tight as possible. Then take a pen and mark your measurement marks. Cut your ribbon to the desired length and you're done!
Whelp, I finally mustered up the nerve to call Merle. My good ol' neighbor and faithful handyman. I wasn't sure how he'd react to me asking him for help once again. You know, after Toby tried to eat his legs that one time and last week when Daisy tried to kill him. He said... Well, I really can't say what he said, but he eventually agreed to help decorate the Bed and Breakfast with me. Just NO Toby and Daisy there to help! We have so many guests arriving for the holiday season I couldn't get it all done myself. Here's what Merle and I got done so far. We just have to put up trees in each room and we're finished! Then the baking and cooking begins.
Free wall art from a LIFE WTR bottle label. I used precut craft wood as the canvas, but anything thick would work as the canvas. I painted the front of the wood white and the sides black. You can either wait for the paint to dry and use glue to attach the label or place the label while the paint is wet--but to do it while it's wet, I'd recommend cutting the label to size beforehand.
There are so many in this group who have debilitating diseases, me included. Please know, I am here for you. Earlier this year my MS attacked my ability to control certain parts of my body. This is a video of me practicing my hand grasping skills. I hope if you are in a spot where your physical needs get you down, that deep down in your heart that you won't give up. I am here for you, others are here for you. I have since recovered my control, but it was tons of work because I refused to give up. Please, please don't give up. I'm here to help! I came up with super simple crafts that let me feel productive and less sad, so if you find yourself needing that too please let me know. I will try my best to help you. Love and prayers to all those that feel like no one is in your corner and giving up. Know that I care and I would do anything to help you feel less alone and more productive.
