My mum’s 60th this evening. It was a lot of fun putting together this grazing table. My cake piping still needs some work 🤨 Now that I have this style cake out of my system, I think I’ll go back to regular cakes.. baby steps 😆
The play dough recipe from the Everyday Cookbook lasts so long when sealed in an airtight container or zip lock bag, so no need to be constantly replacing dried up and crusty play dough. It’s been months! We always add a couple of drops of @doterra Lavender Peace and Frankincense while the Thermomix is kneading for a lovely scent and it makes for a super relaxing play 👌🏼
Look! Valentine’s Day pressie all sorted! I have to say, these are the only cupcakes I’ve had from a professional baker, that aren’t sickly sweet. Perfect balance of choc/vanilla and sugar 👌🏼 So pretty 😍 @sweet_on_cupcakes_x guys get your orders in!
When you have nothing prepared for dinner, but frozen, leftover @skinnymixer butter chicken sauce is looking at you square in the eyes. Add some diced chicken, some extra veggies and a bit of rice whipped up in 12 minutes - winning 🙌🏼 Paleo without the rice. Cauliflower rice is a great substitute
Using up some left over fondant from yesterday’s cakes and having some fun with the small child. She made the horns ☺️ The humidity along with the air con is causing the fondant to go sloppy and soft 😣 it was still a fun experiment though 🦄
So they may not look exactly how I had planned, but I put a lot for love and effort into these cakes and the taste was pretty damn good! Thank goodness for two Thermomix’s! Happy 40th birthday to my sister and happy 41st wedding anniversary to my parents!
The small child wanted to make bath bombs, so this time, we tried the recipe from @theinspiredlittlepot. So easy and loads of fizz! She chose rainbow colours, because ‘rainbows make the day better and brighter’. Spot on, kid and so do you (most days)👌🏼🌈
