A studio oil painting done on a stretched canvas. Something I don’t do very often. It is of a photo taken of a village in Italy named Pienza in Tuscany. I really spent a long time on this 11”x 14” painting. Pretty happy WOOHOO!
What a gorgeous day to be out it Camden State Park in SW MN. An alla prima diptych 2- 6”x8”,off of the walk bridge by group camp. First time in one month since I was out, whew too long, made my day though.
12 degrees and I was blessed to be painting!! WOOHOO!! An alla prima plein air style 6”x 12” painting of the Redwood River in the three mile creek wildlife area! So cold the white paint was goobery, ha ha ha!
Started this diptych last July in Duluth Plein Air. I started it three hours before the awards ceremony and after two I needed to get back into town, so this last week I finished it in studio. 2-6”x 8” oil paint
“Oonci’s Blessing”. An 11”x 14” studio oil painting, my Lakota Oonci (Grandma) always said that the eagles were my relatives and to see four would be a great blessing! Blessings to all this holiday time
