Bye bye week 6 👋🏼👋🏼👋🏼
It was a bit of a rough week....
.
I’ve been suffering from really bad headaches and had to cut my session very short last Wednesday because
I felt like my head was about to explode. 🤯🤕 Took a scheduled rest day on Thursday and a “doctors orders” rest day on Friday (even after eating most of my training day kcals plus my pancake reefed! 🐷🙉)
I was exhausted Saturday, managed a bit of cardio but didn't even look at a weight.

Today I’m feeling a little more back to normal although energy levels are low 👎🏼😴
Hoping for a more productive (and less painful) week 7 as the fear of not being ready on time really starts to kick in 🙏🏻🤦🏻‍♀️ #tryingtokeepmyheadup

So according to the weighing scales I’ve only dropped 1.8lbs over the last 3 weeks... a bit disappointing really when you start a cut and work your 🍑 off 🤷🏻‍♀️ BUT my measurements are all down, I’ve lost almost two inches from my waist. 🙌🏼
Scales make me sad, measurements and progress pictures make me happy 🤗 More of them and less worrying about the number on the sad step from here on out. 👌🏼

Here’s the reality... prep is not easy. If you want to be stage lean then it will get tough, and if it’s not tough, then you’re not lean enough. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s at that point (or maybe even sooner) that you’ll loose the fire that’s solely lit from those around you, instead of from within.

I do it because I enjoy it, because I want to challenge myself, to test my limits and to see just how much willpower and determination I really have. It’s never about anyone else.

Will @neuro_pain_clinic keeps that in check for me 👌🏼 But the right one.... I’m saying my prayers that rest will fix it 🙏🏻😬 #passmetheneurofen

Just taking it week by week 🙆🏻‍♀️ Long term goals are great to have but I often find that I can become consumed with doubt and worry on how I’ll achieve something when I think long term.

During prep I break it down so that’s it’s manageable, I just take it week by week. I might sound mad (all the best people are a little crazy 💁🏻‍♀️) but on a Monday morning when I wake up I’ll silently give myself a pat on the back for giving it 100% the previous week with training and diet, and having not given into cravings! 🐷😬🍫
This sets me up ready to go again for another week! I prepare for the seven days ahead, instead of the “X” amount of weeks as a whole.

The “I can’t” mentality sets in when I solely focus the end result, and how far I have to go,  but I KNOW that I can manage seven days of giving it my all.
