Sorry for the hiatus guys. Life’s been crazy. 😂 Lots of things have been happening and I don’t want to bore you with all the details. School is taking up so much of my mind I don’t have time to think of anything else. But, I absolutely miss my weight loss fam. I miss the encouragement and accountability. I definitely feel like I’ve fallen into this pit and I cannot get up. It’s hard. Dieting is hard. Life’s hard. But there is absolutely one thing I can say with certainty: I WILL THRIVE. 🌸 There isn’t a single circumstance in my life that has the capability to hinder my growth. So cheers to growing, glowing, and going. ❤️✨
— Hey there! It’s midterm SZN so that explains my disappearance. 😂 So I bought this juice from my school’s cafe andI wanted to share it with my Keto peeps! Absolutely no sugars, 15 calories, and only 2 carbs! It literally has 4 ingredients and it’s actually pretty tasty! Just be mindful that is has cayenne pepper in it to help the gut. Don’t drink a huge gulp like I did then exclaim in pain in the library. 😭🔥😂
— So lately I’ve been obsessed with English muffins for breakfast! They are so versatile and delicious! I have the 100 calorie whole wheat ones and they are so BOMB! 😋 My favorite thing to do is toast them and fill it with scrambled eggs and spinach. Today I was pressed for time so I toasted them, added avocado, and a slice of tomato. 😍 Then I topped it with salt, pepper, and a couple dashes of hot sauce! Talk about a flavorful breakfast. 🔥🔥🔥
— Food freedom is: going to a gelato shop and not being afraid to order something decadent. It’s knowing that there’s nothing wrong with food that’s good for the soul and not just the body. It’s realizing that life is way too short to worry about how each and every calorie will affect your weigh in. It’s remembering that your self esteem doesn’t diminish based on a jean size or BMI. Sometimes weight loss is so annoying. Let me rephrase: WEIGHT LOSS IS ANNOYING. You put in the work, track, avoid donuts, and when you do your weekly weigh-in you’re just like——-😒🔥. I get it, TRUST ME I DO. But keep putting in the work. Put your best foot forward, make a plan, and execute. It only works if you work it. 😌💕
— Legit no better way to satisfy these protein macros than by a plate of wings. 😍 So I’ve been frustrated with how my weight has been dogging me (like it often does) and my sister told me that it’s because I’m not hitting my macros good enough. I love the freedom that comes with IIFYM but I get frustrated with how much I have to eat just to hit my goals. I don’t eat much (believe it or not 😂) so being forced to eat like 5 times a day is ANNOYING. Not even considering the fact that I’m a whole Law student out here and everything I eat has to be eaten in the library. 😩 Just like any diet there’s a learning curve. Tryna get the hang of this thing. 😕
— The macros are allotting me pasta today and I ain’t mad about it. 🙂 Whole grain pasta topped with chicken and shrimp Alfredo sauce and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. 😍
Forgive me for the lack of posts, but school has had me by my neck all week long. 😩 It’ll also be awhile before any weigh ins because I’m having issues with water retention. My rings don’t fit, my shoes are too tight, and I am tired all the time (beyond the normal law school fatigue). Hoping things return to normal soon. 😕
— So I tried my hand at protein pancakes today... I think I should keep on trying...😂 They were delicious though! I used:
🔺 2 scoops of protein powder
🔺 1 banana
🔺 2 eggs
🔺 A dash of cinnamon
I blended it and put in in a non stick skillet to cook. After I cooked them I smeared peanut butter on top, because #PeanutButter 🤤 and used Sugar free syrup from the ye old days of Keto! ❤️🔥 Super yummy!

1. I’m full ALL THE TIME.
2. No unusual cravings or side effects.
3. I actually enjoy what I’m eating.
4. I’m losing weight and I’m not fearing bread. 😂

— I have the hardest time capturing the essence of a taco! 😭 Breakfast this morning is egg whites, bacon, and picante sauce wrapped in a low carb tortilla. Yes I’m still eating like I’m low carb lol. That’s all I know. 🤷🏽♀️😍Happy Monday! 🙂
- Before, when I couldn’t find my hot sauce | After, once I discovered I had a bottle of roasted pepper hot sauce. 😍 Baked chicken, brown rice, and okra. Day 2 of IIFYM and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying it! The counting, weighing, measuring, and tracking can be a bit tedious, but overall I don’t have any complaints. Things I haven’t eaten in years are “allowed” now. I think I’m experiencing that food freedom people are raving about. ☺️ Dessert was sugar free vanilla froyo with slivered almonds, strawberries and a drizzle of SF Hershey’s syrup. (Consumed before I realized I needed a picture lol) 😂 Hope you’re having an amazing Sunday! ❤️
— Welp it’s my first day of my new lifestyle and I’d be LYING if I said I wasn’t excited to get this ball rolling. Breakfast was oatmeal from Starbucks and lunch is from Salata. 😍 Excuse the low quality photo but I did the best I could with this library light. 😑😂
— Insanity is often described as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Truth is, my diet has been driving me insane. I feel like I’ve gotten to the end of my rope and I can no longer continue the insane cycle of undereating and weighing myself, fasting and weighing myself, cutting carbs and weighing myself...
I finally took initiative and decided to put Keto on the back burner. Right now, it’s not a lifestyle I can sustain with complete happiness. 😞 I’ve decided to give If It Fits Your Macros a whirl to see if it will mend my AWFUL relationship with food. If you follow me strictly for Keto, I 100% understand if you no longer wish to follow my segue into a new lifestyle.
