Thanks to Bay Area Black Deaf Advocates for letting us to affiliate their organization and thanks to Sheri Farinha @xosheri for letting us to use the conference room at NorCal Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. A great group to work with and brainstorming and ideas for establish a new organization, California Latinx Deaf Advocates.
Please support our cause by purchasing and wearing with pride one of our beautiful Raza de Sordx shirts designed by one of our students, Ana Garcia Rodriquez. If you don’t want to wear the shirt, donate the shirt to one of our Latinx students. Contact me if you’re interested. Will send you the link. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! ❤️👏🏽😁.
Our table mates, ROCK! Our vision of California map for reaching out our 17,000 Deaf students in California and maybe half of them or more are Latinx Deaf. Deeply concerned! Keep vision to reach out to them for our right, human right and multilingual. (Note: strongly evidence that Riverside has 73% of Latinx students and Fremont has 47%.)
