#pullups make the #back#stronger , if #squat is the king of lower body #exercises then pull ups are the king of #upperbody exercises. In this video I am at 201.0lbs at 14.9% body fat. No supplement regime, expect for the occasional #bang . This is my starting point, after a long hiatus of inconsistent training. Back to get at it again.
All I can say is that I am grateful and I appreciated the great experience, glory to God.
In life it's important to celebrate the small things in life and today was one of them.
Today I went to a #BJJ#competition in San Diego and it was awesome. I got out of the house explored a little, learned a little more about the wonderful sport of BJJ. Got a selfie with Eddie Bravo.
Special thanks to Gabriel Vieira Gaudio for coaching me through the tournament, and Raul Arteaga for the support. Of course Coach Abner Cifuentes, for drilling the #GFT at the House of Gyms BJJ on a daily. We also have open mats, from 8 to 10pm Mon-Fri at the House of Gyms, come check it out.
It's been less than a year since I have committed to BJJ, but I can't stress the importance of thanking those who helped me on my journey. I also want to thank everyone who has developed my game to this point, past coaches #Borron , past teammates #teamavalanche , current coaches, current teammates because all those sessions and sweat add up in the development of one's game. You are not forgotten. It's a journey, no doubt about it.
The journey is worth more than any medal.
It's one small step for my BJJ journey, I am excited and ready to work harder for the next step, until the next competition.
