Did you know that Daughter of the Soil is really passionate about #womenempowerment ?
When you connect the dots you will find that our brand purpose is all about using our business as a platform to make a difference to the lives of marginalised women. This year we are empowering 15 amazing rural women farmers in Mityana, Uganda through a DOTS training programme on modern farming methods and agricultural techniques and providing them with improved seedlings, farming equipment and business skills. Meet 2 lovely farmers on our programme 😊
We would not have been able to deliver this without our amazing partners @mityanacharity who are on the ground and @harperadamsuni who created the bespoke training material for us. Finally we are grateful for our awesome customers who purchase our products as this enables us to make a difference xx #dotsskincare#womeninbusiness
The power of our brand is in its authenticity, inspired by Maria’s great-grandmother Onyang who lived in Eastern Uganda. From that soil grew treasured and unique botanicals that she used to create nourishing beauty products that she shared with the women around her. —-
Our dream is to continue her legacy of nurturing natural beauty and celebrating the natural treasures from the African soil with the rest of the world.
The beauty of our story of “treasured ingredients, beautifully crafted” is uniquely reflected in our product, packaging and branding. #dotsskincare#heritage#africanbotanics
Did you know that we aim to nurture more than skin with our Connect the DOTS social initiative? The sale of our products helps us to empower 15 marginalised rural women farmers in Uganda with education and tools to help them earn a sustainable income #dotsskincare#connectthedots
