We ♥ Our Donors!
Won't you be our Valentine? Christian Outreach in Action is so grateful to you for making what we do possible! Every day the love you show with your donation is used to help lift up homeless people and low-income workers who would otherwise not have a hot meal. In addition to meals, we are able to offer food banks twice a week, a clothing bank, a diaper giveaway, and a new pet food bank.
Because of you, we serve breakfast every day, dinner five days a week, and lunch on weekends. Our Senior Day happens every other month at the Little Brown Church. We have free medical clinics twice a week, and we will soon open a legal clinic. All of this is how we show our love for you, by using your gifts to pass on your compassion and love of community.
A special thank you to all our volunteers who give their time throughout the year!
Today is the LAST DAY to RSVP! Our Valentine Tea is on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 2pm-4pm, graciously hosted at Grace First Presbyterian Church!
Our guest speaker, Harry Saltzgaver, has been a journalist for nearly 40 years. Currently the Executive Editor of Gazette Newspapers, he has also published two books— Passionately Positive, The Beverly O’Neill Story and 20 Pounds of Salt, a compilation of his signature column, A Pinch of Salt. Living a life of community involvement, he currently serves on the Water Commission, boards of Goodwill, Grand Prix Foundation, U.S. Vets and the Salvation Army.
