No filter, found out a few things about myself that I already knew but was reminded of when standing in the mirror this morning...1, I’m hairy af, I hate being hairy and having to shave every week or I’ll look like a real tree 🌳, second my back is making me mad, I’ve got great genetics in most areas but my back is certainly not defined like I would love for it to be, Third, I have f*n awesome arms and I own that shit, Fourth, my traps are open for skiing this winter but I am not cheap, and last I really should shut up and stop complaining about dumb little shit that doesn’t really matter cause there are plenty other things in life and in this deteriorating world to worry about besides what my back looks like, lol that went south real fast huh?! That’s how I like it. Unpredictable. Go chase your dreams damn it!
No filter for real, just lighting in the gym was very deceiving during today’s always uncomfortable selfie. Today I only had 1 hour until the gym closed so I had to make it quick and effective, Back and traps, traps were more indirect then direct but they put in their part for sure! This is what the hell I did, feel free to mock it.
1. Pyramid scheme wide grip lat pull downs.
2. Standing plate loaded shrug machine superset with front barbell shrugs; 5 sets, keep weight consistent but really focus on form and the squeeze.
3. Plate loaded single arm unilateral pulls, 4 sets, go up in weight each set, 1st set 20 reps, 2nd 15, 3rd 10, 4th 6-8 <———(for example)
4. Dumbbell bent over rows superset with lying incline dumbbell rows(strict form) 4 sets, weight consistent, and always pull through your elbows imagining your hands as hooks.
5. Finished up with single arm dumbbell rows, 5 sets, went up in weight every set.
If you rest roughly 60 seconds between sets there’s no reason you can’t fit this into an hour and be pumped, sweaty and sore the next day!!!! Do it right or don’t do it at all! Good luck everybody!
Probably the biggest transformation pic I’ve ever posted! Before I was your average punk kid, getting fucked up all the time, felt unstoppable, in my head I was huge and no one could step to me! Lmfao, wow was I wrong as hell! You know it takes some people a long time to find themselves And to really grow up, I was one of those. But life smacked me in the face , I woke up from this little fantasy land I was living in, took care of personal things that were constantly in my way and fought the demons that were slowing me down! I somehow found something I love to do besides partying everyday, I decided my health and happiness is going to be number 1 for the rest of my life, because life is way to short to be cutting yourself short and not making every day or almost everyday count(realist)! I’m done with the cheesy stupid long caption, pictures speak a thousand words and this one shows you what happens when you stop smoking, drinking and doing drugs. And start eating right, working out routinely, and putting your health on a pedi stool!!! 6 years of work and dedication tho, this shit isn’t magic, you have to actually work for it💪🏻👍🙌✊👊👏
Tbh. I have been doing some major slacking in the gym for the past couple weeks! This illness that is going around has got to get gone already, I’m a firm believer in rest and recovery when you’re sick! But it really does suck when it seems like it will never go away! 😓 so here it is, I threw on my sweatpants cause it’s colder than hell out here, and went to my favorite gym where my buddy doesn’t mine when I come after hours, which is great cause I can lift shirtless, grunt, drop shit, cuss, take selfies and whatever else your lil heart desires without any cares or worries, which is great, so I had all that at my finger tips, and what happens? A not so great workout turns into a fresh selfie for the album! Happy New Years, be safe! Me and the wife are going to sleep early and getting up for work cause well, we’re boring! Lol jk I don’t miss the party days, even on New Years! That’s what separates me from others. Go get it!
Let me tell you what I did, chest day, 45 mins, it was cold, mix of sun and clouds, semi bad headache, but that didn’t stop me...They had the front doors locked at the gym, that didn’t stop me...I went to the next one and that shit stopped me to a fu*kn halt cause I realized it was a LA Fitness, true story, kind of 🤗 guess we’ll never know! Started with incline dumbbell chest press, warm up, then pyramid up to whatever weight you can bang out for a hard 8 reps, then immediately put those weights down, cut the weight in half and burn out another set at least doubling the reps of the heavy weight, do that for 3 sets and then you should be ready to go 😛 then just to have fun turn the bench to a flat setting, proceed with dumbbell chest press, use a set of dumbbells with a weight that you get a hard 12-15 reps with, then drop those weights and immediately grab a pair of lighter weight dumbbells that you can get a hard 8-12 reps with on a flat dumbbell fly, do that for 4 sets then flex in the mirror, ok... go to the hammer press machine, I chose the standard one over the incline just cause it turned out that way, throw on enough weight so that you get good clean reps for a good 8-12 reps, then again immediately cut the weight in half and rep it out till you can’t push anymore, do that ish for a good 4 sets! Flex in the mirror one more time...ok, go to the pec dec, seated chest fly machine whatever you prefer to call it, I choose a weight that I can do for a good 20 reps, the goal now Is to flush that blood in those boobies to feed them there fibers with some good nutrients, and it makes you look swole, do that for a good 5 sets, superset it with pushups if you’re feeling adventurous, go over to the mirror, do a “hulk” flex on them, then go over the the dumbbells and do some standing hammer curls to wake them there biceps up, 4 sets. Be out that biatch, but first take a selfie, prove you were there!
