Ya know that cookie skillet I posted about a few days ago? Don’t mind me, just playing around the streets of the city!🤸🏽♀️Also, today I realized that I have never actually done a post on what I do as a Life Coach, so I just wanted to sum it up: I help people change their lives for the better. In this day and age, we tend to be okay with being “okay.” But why? Why do we SETTLE? Settle for okay health. Settle for a body we feel okay about. Settle for a job we don’t love. Settle for staying in a relationship because it’s comfortable. I say EFF settling. We are meant to LIVE and grow and thrive and create and laugh and travel and learn and experience and wonder and love and imagine. We are meant to have fit, healthy bodies and we are meant to love ourselves. And if we don’t have a grasp on our mind and on our mental health and our mentality, then we cannot thrive. So I help people cut the bs, master their mindset, and LIVE THEIR BEST LIVES. And every time I help someone do that, I thrive. It’s a win win🙋🏽♀️ So ya. There ya have it. That’s what I get to do for a living. I don’t post about it much because I don’t want to SELL people THEIR happiness- I like working with people who come to me, and who are ready to change- no if’s, ands, or buts. My Valentines inspired yogurt bowl tonight was sooo good😊 Not pictured with it? The TEN chocolates I’ve had and the FUN DIP. Is that moderate? Not really lol. But it’s Valentine’s Day, and that’s what I wanted. I haven’t had “candy candy” in years, and i wanted it, so I had it. My girlfriend made me homemade vegan chocolates and truffles so did I want ten? Sure did. And so that’s what I had 😊 Still living and kicking it🙋🏽♀️ Oh- and about my girlfriend making me those and buying me flowers and wine AND making me dinner- I am grateful every second for her❤️ Love you all! #vegan

As you can see, I’m a huge fan of this holiday. Any holiday where we are encouraged to spread more love, eat more chocolate, and have more sex is a good one in my book💁🏽♀️😏❤️ Maybe I’m biased because I have the best Valentine a gal could ask for, but seriously- whether you’re single or in a relationship, today is a day for LOVE. Topped with dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and SPRINKLES DUH (sorry. I really like sprinkles...). On the real though, I’m a big fan of Valentine’s Day! Hi Pals! Happy Monday! SO much exciting info coming at you in this post. First of all, I’m feeling SO much better today. After a weekend of horrible tummy issues and a good amount of anxiety, I have surrendered and allowed and gotten into alignment and finally gotten back in my groove.

Before I get to these beauties, I just want to take the time to say thank you for alllll of the love and support on my last post! I feel so grateful everyday to not only have an outlet to use my voice and help others, but also to have this IG community and all of you guys. Used @simplemills pancake mix to make muffins cause I’m a rebel without a cause. I used melted coconut butter as the oil, one mashed bananas&two flax eggs in place of eggs, and filled half of them them with dark chocolate chips, half with walnuts. Recovery. A word we see on Instagram a lot, and hear sometimes in the wellness space. I have been on my path to recovery for over 10 years, whether I knew it or not. At the age of 12, just a little girl, I started to call myself fat. From that day forward, my worth was in my weight; my life was enveloped by self inflicted judgement of how I looked or didn’t look. 99% of my energy has gone to eating or not eating, “deserving” food or not deserving food, starving and making myself sick. Moments of recovery have come more and more as of late, but tonight I had the breakthrough. I love the little girl who unfortunately was told at a young age to watch what she ate. And I am that little girl. I am ready to recognize that my purpose is now to be fulfilled. I am here to help people, to speak to people, to help them change their lives. This I know. But I had to change mine first. And for the first time tonight I cried and out loud told myself how much I loved me. How worthy I am. How beautiful I am.... and how it is time. It is time to let go of those beliefs and restrictions and live and allow. So for anyone who struggles in any way, just know how much you are loved. Just KNOW how damn worthy you are. Life is ready to be lived. Your purpose is ready for you to fulfill. You just have to love yourself enough to allow yourself to do it🖤 #recovery#selflove
Need an easy/delicious/fun Valentines treat? Chocolate covered strawberries- DUH🍫🍓. But on the real, making these is soooo easy and they’re SO worth it, so if you’re in need of treat ideas for your boo(or for YOSELF) these are it! Simply melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave or on the stove. If microwaving, do small times in increments so you can stir as you go. If you’re doing it over the stove, melt it on loooowww heat and stir lots! Dip clean strawberries in the chocolate, and top with whatever you’d like! Bigger meals, less sugary snacks, more meal prep: one of my intentions for February. Today, after @barrysbootcamp , the hunger was so real. Because I still am working on my eating and relationship with food, I ended up not eating enough during the day (though my dinner pictured here was dope) and coming home after dinner and having fruit, granola, a protein bar, and chocolate. No big deal right? Well, at first- it was. I started to get in my head and think about calories and sugar; I started to get down on myself. But then I was like NOPE. Swerving that. For 12 years I had an eating disorder, disliked my body, and couldn’t even pretend to understand intuitive eating. So why would repairing all of that happen overnight? It wouldn’t. It won’t. So if I have an awesome day of eating plants and come home and eat a little too much dessert WHO THE EFF CARES. I am still me. I am still healthy. I am still beautiful. That doesn’t define me... in even the SLIGHTEST. And that’s the part that I always come back to. So if ever you are struggling or beating yourself up, just know you have alllll the power to flip the script...to REWRITE the script. In moments where you are doubting yourself, instead remind yourself how far you’ve come and who you really are, what you’re really about. Because in the grand scheme of things, in this crazy huge amazing life, why the HELL am I counting granola servings? (😂) #recovery#strong#granola4ever
“Why?” - A question we do often ask ourselves; a question we so often give ourselves trouble over? “Why do I always have to snack so much at night?”, “Why can’t I just wake up early to workout?”, “Why am I always comparing myself to others?”...the list goes on. Now, as a Coach, I’m absolutely all for getting to the root cause of false beliefs, habits, and actions. When it is necessary. Sometimes, however, we need to stop picking on ourselves and questioning ourselves with all of the “Whys” and simply start affirming with “I am.” I am going to reach my fitness goals. I am going to stop buying the snack I can’t stop eating so it’s not in the house. I am beautiful. I am enough. Today when I woke up I was feeling out of sorts, even after mediation, but instead of wallowing in my head, I got up and ran out the door to crush a workout, only solidifying post-workout that I was over-thinking and judging myself. Can we chill the eff out with all of the questions and just connect with the INTENT instead? Can we instead focus solely on the best version of ourselves; align with that version of ourselves. We sure can. So let’s do it. Do what you need to do. Say what you need to say. Stop questioning yourself and be badass. That is all💙 #selflove#yoga
STUFFED AVO 4 LYFE. Idk if you guys remember when I was on a stuffed avocado KICK, but it.is.BACK. Tonight this baby is stuffed with @kitehillfoods chive cream cheese and @cedarsfoods roasted red pepper hummus. This is perfect to eat as is like my girlfriend does, or as a dip of sorts like I do🙋🏽♀️ I usually eat half or half of each(so extra) but if I’m starving like tonight after hot yoga I’ll opt for both! HAPPY BRAIN SNICKERDOODLE BALLS on REPEAT🙌🏼 You may remember me posting snickerdoodle balls a few weeks ago, but in this batch I used some @majusuperfoods MCT oil to make them the PERFECT study snack (MCT oil can improve cognitive function!) 🙌🏼 Sooo DO IT: *Ingredients: •1c almond flour •1c coconut flour •1c soaked nuts(I did cashews and walnuts, soaked for a few hrs!) •1-2 TBSP MCT oil •1/2c room temp almond milk •1/4c partially melted coconut butter(mine was still somewhat thick and not fully runny-it gives the balls a better texture!) •Cinnamon • 1/4c-1/2c Coconut sugar, depending how sweet you want them(could sub soaked dates) *Directions: •In a good processor, blend all of the ingredients together, slowly sprinkling cinnamon in as you go. •Once the dough is formed, roll into balls, roll into more cinnamon and coconut sugar(or leave some plain like I did!) •Refrigerate for 10 minuets before DIVING in! -If your dough is a little dry, try adding small amounts of room temp almond milk. Coconut flour is like a sponge, so sometimes a little more liquid is needed!
I hope you guys like these as much as I do! A goal of mine is to back off bars and added sugar, so even though these have some coconut sugar, it’s natural and not tooo much, yet still cures my sweet tooth! The perfect moment. The perfect pose. The perfect body. The perfect photo. The perfect words. Pardon my French, but FUCK that. Fuck that. What’s a photo without an amazing memory, without the experience? What’s the perfect body with a life of worry and restriction and bingeing and lack of self-worth? What’s the perfect pose without the struggle that it took to get into it, to stay there; to experience the discomfort? Yesterday, I questioned my eating and my food intake and my body all day. All day. I fasted and played my old mind games only to end up allowing myself to have a bigass ice cream sundae at 11 PM. And guess what? IT WAS AWESOME. AND I LIVED. Even through the excess sugar and calories? Crazy, right? So when today I almost second guessed posting this photo because my body doesn’t look perfect, because I’m not in the pose I wanted perfectly... I out loud said “fuck that.” So here it is, the moral of the story: Life is too goddamn short. Find your purpose and your passion and put your energy THERE. Find the right people and causes and put your love THERE. Use your glorious energy and space for good, for expansion, for new and wonderful things! Weekend vibes: avo toast, tons of yoga, cuddling with @lyndsayp143, and PATS. I went to a 90 minute heated class this morning and was just TIRED. Even waking up, I didn’t bounce out of bed and grab my mat which is unlike me lol. I’m so glad I went to class, however, and also glad that I took modifications, extra rest, and child’s pose when I needed them. Knowing yourself well enough to rest when necessary is so important! Happy Friday loves! Today is a day of lots of yoga-taking class at 1230 then teaching tonight at 6 at Beacon Hill @healthyogalife COME!- walks, podcasts and good food. When we eat nutrient dense, nourishing, yummy, colorful foods and move our bodies, it’s hard to be in anything but a good mood.
