It's NOT them, it's you! #REALTalkTime
Do you end up on similar situations regularly in your life that bring you down?
Are you trapped in a circle of similar relationships?
Attracting the same types of partners? Friends?
Are you the type of person that ALWAYS show up for others no matter what?
Saying yes to help the people you love, ALL the time even if that means putting your own needs aside?
And always end up on your own when you need support the most?Having that feeling that you can help others but no one can help you back?
Well, the issue isn’t coming from them. It's you.
I know because I have been that person.
For a sad long time.
I believed that all that made me a good person.
Until I burned out. Fell in deep depression.
It was early last year.
Oprah said something like “Fill your own cup then fill other’s”
Self Love is what you’re actually lacking of.
I know, it’s no fun to come up to this realisation.
It feels like shame most of the time.
And if it feels uncomfortable, it’s because it’s the truth.
Self love, isn’t self care, or personal grooming like spa treatment & bubble baths.
It’s Self Forgiveness.
It’s Self Acceptance.
Like, FULLY accepting yourself.
The things you like and the other things you don’t.
The ones that you hide from others because you feel ashamed by them.
They’re not only the body parts you’d like to change but also the part of your soul.
What lives in your brain.
What makes your heart beats faster.
What excites you and makes you happier that isn’t part of the social norms.
What you’re afraid people around you would judge you for.
If they knew…
What you judge as “good” or “bad”. Your past.
The people who did you wrong.
The ones you miss.
The times you miss. The feelings they brought to you.
What they made of you.
The person you fully are today. From inside out.
The way you look.
Dress, Talk, The sound of your voice, Your skin color, Your beliefs.
Your body shape.
Your name or last name. Where you come from.
Acceptance leads to love.
Love leads to life standards.
For you and others around you.
How you treat yourself.
How you want to be treated.
What you want in your life & what you don’t...
