YOU GUYS. I CAN STEP IN PUDDLES.
I bought rain boots when I was in Portugal, and I couldn't be more thrilled about being more prepared than ever to enjoy rainy season! *jumps and twirls around with cheesy smile on my face*
Today is World Down Syndrome Day. I am joining a community of people wearing mismatched — but matching in their own rainy day way — socks to remind people that things that are different are still beautiful and wonderful. 💛 #lotsofsocks#worlddownsyndromeday#extrachromosome
I wish our train stations were this beautiful. 😍
Those panels on the wall are individual hand painted tiles. If you follow the top panels, it gives a visual representation of the progression of traveling throughout history – walking, horseback, carriages, etc. – ending in the use of trains. 🚂
Nothing but joy on this first day of spring! 💐 Even thought it was gloomy and rainy, it was smiles and laughter. 💛
There were small parks around Porto with patches of colorful tulips. Each patch with a specific color... yellow, purple, red, and these beautiful red and yellow ones.
I miss it.
10 Months of Marriage 💛
I'm so happy we took the time to have a honeymoon before we hit our one year. We kept talking about it a lot without actually deciding or doing anything, so I'm glad we had that one day in fall last year where we sat down, bought plane tickets, and made it happen. That trip was incredible, and I cannot wait for our next adventure!
Happy 10 Months @m_domz! 💛

First day back at work after our lovely honeymoon adventure in Portugal. All the questions about our trip has me dreaming of our next visit. 😌
Alas, there isn't one currently in the works, so, instead, I'll look forward to going back home to Hawaii in May for our one year wedding anniversary.
Pasteis de Belem from Pasteis de Belem. If you get those pastries from anywhere else, they're called pastel de nata.
I will admit that they weren't my favorite, but I had to try it while I was there. 😊
Green 🍀 Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Feeling great this morning. We started our first full day back in the Bay off strong. Woke up early, went to the gym for both cardio and some weights, did more grocery shopping, emptied out our luggages, and put everything away. Gold star for us! ⭐️
There's more day to be had, so here we go!
We are FINALLY back! Don't get me wrong. I'd love to still be on vacation in Portugal, but after over a day and a half of traveling in order to get back home, I am ecstatic to not be facing another plane ride. 😌
I'm so tired I don't even want a coffee right now. I want to sleep. Haha.
I think we're running on a total of 5 hours of sleep the past 2 nights. We're exhausted. My vision is blurry. We're getting delirious. But we're almost home. One more flight...
We were supposed to fly out of Lisbon at 9:20am yesterday so we got to the airport around 6am only to find that our flight was delayed due to mechanical problems. We didn't leave till 3:30pm, which means that we didn't get to Newark till 7:40pm. Due to the late arrival, there were no flights out to SF after that so we stayed in a Newark for the night, and United changed our flight to stop in Chicago before going back to SF the following day.
Fortunately, staying in Newark meant that we got to have dinner and spend time with my family there for a little bit before napping for 2 hours to get back to the airport at 3 for our 5am flight. 😅
It's been a rough journey trying to get home, but we're almost there.
*update* Our flight home was just delayed by an hour. 😑
