I have always been active and fitish. I bounced around the gym when I was younger in my Lycra and my headband looking pretty cute. And the thing about the gym is that it is social and can be fun. Don't know how much actual working out I did between the waiting, the talking and the flirting but I could routinely spend an hour or more there.
Then I had a kid and spending hours at the gym came to a screeching halt (as did showering and sleeping). So I worked out at home. Then I had more kids, an elderly dog and my mom who was suffering from Alzheimer's moved in with me. Everything came screeching to a halt.
Luckily I found an amazing group of women who let me vent and when I wanted to quit or not work out kicked my booty. They became my friends and got me back to my pre-preggo weight. More than that I felt I was in control of something in a time I was in control of nothing.
Does this sound familiar- is this you- reach out and I can help. Comment below or use the link in my bio.
Envision yourself in the future. How do.you look, feel and act? Are you active and enjoying life? Are you playing with your grandkids or sitting on the sidelines?
That is what I thought... so take care of yourself today. Exercise, eat clean, sleep, meditate, get a pet....
It's my Rocky Burger. He was the one who drank the raw eggs, right? Anywho... Stop thinking that eating clean has to boring or bland. This is a cheeseburger with sauteed onions and a fried on top. That my love is anything but boring.
Here I go, here I go, here I go again.... It isn't the big things that you do that make all the difference. One giant act does not change the world or you. But those small acts done every single day without fail. Now that creates change.
So work towards a better you- a better future- a better planet every single day. One step at a time.
Man 4.45 comes quick. You have nonodea how badly I just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep. But I have people I have to show up for. People I promised I would commit to this program every day. This keeps me accountable and achieving my goals.
Science has shown that people who announce their goals and work with accountability groups are more likely to achieve their goals and achieve than quicker than those who go it alone.

Well that was wicked hard! (I am from Massachusetts so I can use the word wicked all day). It says it's cardio but really a combo of cardio, stretching and strength.
I know this sounds weird but it is awesome to have something to struggle through... something that is hard and challenging, that you don't quit. It is a daily accomplishment and sets me up to have a winner mindset.
Good thing they are so freaking cute. Today was one of those expensive days. You know one of those days where every kid tells you they need something (and not cheap somethings) and they needed it yesterday.
A year ago we were going through some big life changes and that would have made me hide and cry but today off we went to the store and I was able to get everything on their lists. It felt so good to be able to just get them what they needed without all the stress of trying to figure out where the $$ was going to come from.
