In 48 hours I will be leaving snowy Oregon and landing in Miami and soaking up SO MUCH SUN ☀️ It’s been over 4 years since I’ve been back to my home state and I’m so excited to be chilling on a beautiful Florida beach again 🏖😎 Where are your favorite beaches in Florida?
• And finally I twist my heart round again, so that the bad is on the outside and the good is on the inside, and keep on trying to find a way of becoming what I would so like to be, and could be, if there weren't any other people living in the world. •
Giving myself a little pat on the back for being on top of my self care after a rough few years of life throwing a lot of crap my way. I’ve been feeling blessed lately and it’s lovely to not feel like everything is crashing down on me. Most of that is from getting on top of my mental health, but also getting my physical health back to a place where it isn’t causing me pain daily or causing me to faint 🤯 It’s been lots of physical and mental therapy, making sure I take my handful of vitamins day and night, staying consistent with doing yoga daily, and getting out in nature as much as possible. There is still so many things I can’t do, but I’m getting there with a routine and a lot of patience with my limitations. Take care of yourself, even if it’s only one step at a time. I’ll be hosting a giveaway soon, so make sure you turn your notifications on for my posts, so you can know when to enter and win some awesome prizes that’ll make your self care routine a little more fun 🖤
Nice little view from the Clatsop Loop Trail at Indian Beach in Ecola State Park, which is part of the Oregon Coastal Trail. The goal was to to go hiking at least twice a month, but @buddhaisdead and I have been able to take the pups out to the coast nearly every week 🐾 Living in Portland is great, but being out in nature brings a sense of peace and relaxation you can’t get in the middle of the city🌲 Where are your favorite places to get out of the city and explore?
