WHEN YOU TAKE PICTURES AT YOUR FRIEND’S WEDDING BUT THEN YOU REALIZE HALFWAY THROUGH YOUR CAMERA MIGHT HAVE A LIGHT LEAK (thank goodness she had an actual pro there too) AND THEN YOU GET THE PHOTOS BACK AND YOU SEE THIS PERFECT FACE SMILING AT YOU 😭😭😭 Love you Mrs. Liza Jean Ryan Gill
All the love this visit—two perfect weddings, parties with the @nellamediagroup team, catch-up with friends, Christmas with the new fam. So much aloha to this place that keeps on giving. K bye for now 😘
This cool blue exhibit at the ASU Art Museum, "Neon Afterwords" by Fiamma Montezemolo, features excerpts from a Jorge Luis Borges short story. It also feels like my brain since childhood—words and moments and written images floating around since I started devouring books, then digesting college assignments, then editing stories and absorbing online articles. (Though I can't recall the plots of most novels I've read, probably because I've read so many so fast.) Now, I'm trying to add a whole new lingo to the mix. Who knows how it will turn out ... maybe like the final line of the exhibit: "He is now a librarian." PS the short story is "The Anthropologist" gotta read it now.
