To this day this costume brings a smile to my face. @kyrawulfgar also acts a lot like Hawkgirl, both Fierce and Heroic!
Throwback to @kyrawulfgar and her badass Hawkgirl costume. Mace and Cowl made by me when I was starting @wulfgarweapons. Rest of the costume including the wings made by her.

"Report" I said to Lydia. "I count at least sixty-five reds down. there's at least ten injured and incapacitated, but not dying. the rest left to regroup in the Reach and Hjaalmarsh." "and from our side?" "Twenty-five blues down." she replied. "We need those reinforcements, Wulfgar." she gulped, "Thirty-five Men in light armor won't hold the border if they send any heavies. and that's not counting the Bandits that generally roam the roads. or the average Forsworn attack." I nodded. "We'll get them. all we need is to hold this place for a few days. then, it'll be the reach."
with the death of the Centurions, the LEgion lost its spirit.
Thirty men, still ready to fight, began escaping.
running for the Reach.
The Militiamen cheered.
I sighed. "Stay Vigilant, boys." I chuckled, "The Reds may return at any time."
The Legionnaires were not even remotely ready for a battle like this.
their only advantage is a Shield-wall. an advantage I would not let them use.
Until, a bit further, and after at least a century of Soldiers, We finally found the Centurions in charge of this place.
two Heavily armored Legionnaires.
ready to die.
And then, I joined the battle.
It was bloody. men dropped from both sides.
of course, after a victory like the one in Whiterun and Falkreath, The Militia had never been in such good spirits. and the Legionnaires were outmatched, in terms of skill. Of course, it also did help that two people in heavy armor just joined the Militia and began cutting off Legionnaires left right and center.
But now, for the first time since the war had started, Men had finally begun pushing the Empire out of Whiterun. for good.
"Hail, Stormlord" a Soldier said. "The Men are at the western end of the Town." I nodded.
"I can hear the fighting, what is it?" "They outnumber us. and have men on the roads all the way to the Reach and Hjaalmarsh." A Soldier explained. "We've held them off from Rorikstead itself, but we haven't-" "Ah. do not worry. how many men do we have here?" "Fifty. we have more men moving in to camp at the Reach, perhaps at least a hundred more, but not yet." I nodded. "Fifty will prove enough. how many hostiles have you counted?" "Imperials?" she said, thinking, "At least a hundred here. mostly light armor. But they're all the way to the road. they outnumber us two to one, at least." "But we don't need to kill all of them" I pointed out, "All we need to do is push them out of Whiterun, and hold them off, long enough that the Reinforcements arrive."
"He was a good man" Lydia pointed out. "For a Legionnaire, at least." "How come?" "He let the Prisoners go, in the last battle. and allowed them free passage back to Windhelm. I would have spared him, had he stood down." I shook my head. "You know he wouldn't, Lydia. fanatics seldom do."

Lydia drew her sword, a gift from Lord Ragnarr himself, and walked towards the Legate. "Lydia?" Cipius said. "I'd heard about it, but I couldn't believe it. How could you betray your city like that?" "Betray my city?" Lydia growled, "My city was betrayed when an Oathbreaker forced my Jarl to side with you. My City was betrayed when the Jarl was forced to spill nord blood for your dying empire and your elven overlords" "then you leave me no choice, Housecarl!" the Legate replied, and charged.
But first... "Why have we stopped, sir?" "See the fires in the distance?" I said, pointing at them, "that's bad news."
"Bad news?" "Orange tents and the red banner of the Dragon." I explained. "That's an Imperial Operation camp. probably ran by Legate Cipius." "I did notice his absense in the battle. I thought someone had killed him." "Someone will..."
"I thank you, Lord Wulfgar" Lydia said stoically, and I nodded. "Now, move out to Rorikstead."
We prepered to Move out to Rorikstead.
The town is the westernmost settlement in the
Whiterun hold, and our border with The Imperial Holds.
and it'd be from there that we'd attack our little friends here in the Reach.
"Why are we here, Stormlord?" Asked Lydia.
I chuckled. "Well. We're moving west. The Boys and Girls are waiting for us in Rorikstead. but first, Let's give you a promotion." "A Promotion?" "An upgrade, if you will. This might help you more than the Light Armor, Soldier."
About to start Part II: Shadow, of Iron Gold by @piercebrownofficial That ending of Part I made me hate Darrow more than I thought possible. I've hated his character since the start of this Saga, and continuously more with each book. But I respected him so much. I don't think I do anymore. Pierce, you're a clever bastard and I love you for it. Iron Gold is hitting me with all the FEELS! I look forward to reading the mess this is gonna cause. You have yet to disappoint with the saga, and I'm so excited for more chaos in Iron Gold. #redrisingsaga#redrising#goldenson#morningstar#Irongold#piercebrown#darrow#sevro#wulfgar

CHAPTER SEVEN: Vampire's Vengeance
Part three: #Wulfgar ---
Aided by Lydia, the Huskarl of the Dragonborn, Wulfgar investigates the mines of Pinewatch, reveals the ties Siddgeir has with the Bandits in his region, and after Liberating Fort Snowhawk, detains him.
While Falkreath goes independent again, Wulfgar chases after Siddgeir, and kills him and all his defenders on their way to the Reach, then planning on joining the Army in the Reach.
Fortunately, The Attack would be coordinated. An Army would be needed to march. the Legion would definitely bolster the numbers around the Borders. and now, they controlled Rorikstead.
something We couldn't allow.
I stopped Siddgeir soon enough, Tackling him to the ground. "Know this. it is not your siding with the Empire that has brought you this. It's your siding with Bandits!" and brought the butt of my axe down on his head.
until there wasn't anything left of his head to slam the butt of the axe on.
So, Ten hours later, We intercepted Siddgeir as he was being transported by a Century of Imperials. "Siddgeir of Falkreath" I started, "The Sons of Skyrim find you guilty of Conspiring with Bandits, and Stealing from your people. How do you plead?" "This isn't the deal!" Siddgeir protested. "The Dishonored Jarls leave their city to Solitude." "That was Balgruuf" I shook my head, "A Good man, who merely sided against us. You are not a good man. You are a traitor, a Criminal, And We find you guilty." The Soldiers drew swords. one of them said "We can't let you kill him" "You aren't going to" I chuckled.
"Report." "We have lost twenty Three men in this fight, which will be bolstered by the Guard force in The City proper. The Hold has no more imperial influence. The Soldiers in the Camp have moved out to secure the city. The Imperials in the fort have been dealt a heavy casualty. Sixty eight of their Seventy three dead, and Four so injured they won't survive the day. We have a prisoner though." "Ah, right. Good job, Godmundr. I'll be returning to Whiterun. I'll wait for Lord Ragnarr's Letter to march on The Reach."
And taking care of everyone around it.
"Let's hurry! The Help of the Rebels will be needed!"
I marched in, killing the sole Imperial in the Prison, and picked his key.
"Stormlord Wulfgar?" The Rebel said, in a tone of surprise. "Didn't expect you to survive Windhelm!" "Don't worry" I assured him, "A lot of us did. Come on, now, Soldier. pick up your equipment. We're taking this hold!"
