TOAST to a new day with some Cinnamon French Toast made with @Chobani Greek Yogurt, @vickivortex @jacarra016! Start your day right with a healthier spin on this breakfast favorite. The French Toast recipe is below:
1 cup Non Fat Vanilla Chobani Greek Yogurt, divided
8 slices brioche
1/3 cup whole milk
3 large eggs
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp turbinado sugar
¼ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp orange zest, fresh chopped
1 tbsp butter, unsalted
¼ cup maple syrup
Bacon, as desired
1) Whisk together 1/3 cup Chobani, milk, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar, salt and orange zest.
2) Soak each piece of bread in the mixture for 10 seconds on each side.
3) Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Heat 1 tsp. of butter until melted and add 3 slices of soaked bread. Brown both sides, remove from pan and keep warm in a 200° oven. Repeat with remaining bread.
4) Serve with a dollop of remaining Chobani and a drizzle of maple syrup.
