If you are lacking progress. Try new things 👌 it’s easy to get stuck in the same routine day in and day out. Remove the floor is one way of doing it. Sooo good for your active flexibility in the hip flexor 👌👌👌 (my weakness) You might be surprised how low your top leg is. When you have reached your max do 10-20 pulses. Then do some circles with your top leg as big as you can 💪😁 both legs should be locked out. Squeeze your bum 🍑 💪 Do it even if it looks shit. Because it will get you there. You can modify as a one legged down dog or rest your hands on a bench 🙂#frontsplit #standingsplits #flexible #bendy #activeflexibilty #onamission #workonyourweakness #yogi #crossfit #strength #namaste🙏

I ordered this devotional book two days ago after hearing about it online. Tonight I was asked to help lead a corporate training call for our health and wellness company. I was honored to be asked and had been preparing for days. I was nervous and this book literally showed up on my doorstep an hour before it was time for my call. I read the first days devotion and knew it was a God moment and exactly what I was supposed to be reading going into my call. I said a prayer to calm the nerves and guide my words so that they would inspire those than needed to hear them, with sweaty hands and a quick heartbeat I jumped in...I did it scared and had fun doing it. 
I am looking forward to the next 100 Days to Brave💕

I took a moment to breathe. He took a moment to soak it in. And then we just stood there. With not much to say.

Shortly after - we flipped the switch + went on our way - still dripping in sweat, making kid lunches, waking kids up to get dressed, making beds, brushing hair, brushing teeth, fielding fights, wiping butts, breastfeeding the baby, reading books, playing LEGO’s, sending quick emails, showering, staring at the snow to shovel, made the coffee, and the shake, threw in a load of laundry, pumped, potty trips, wash hands - PLEASE wash the hands!!!!...all before 8AM.

In the webinar I attended today - @melrobbinslive reminded us of this statistic - adults make up to 35,000 decisions per day! That is A LOT of decision making - whether it’s conscious, subconscious, logical or impulsive. Taking a step back to grasp that certainly puts things in perspective.

I’m sharing this b/c I needed a BIG TIME refocus this week on ALL the things I AM doing to help grow myself, my family, my tribe + my business. Because there are days when it feels like NOTHING is moving forward. And failure is ringing in my head.

The TRUTH? Failing is not possible if you’re CHOOSING to the best of your ability + making choices that serve your life + others’ well.

These are lifting straps (homemade) they can help you lift weight beyond what your hook grip can hold. Equipment can be a great training tool, but do you actually need it? Equipment should never be used to mask pain or used to make up for a weakness. You shouldn’t use lifting straps because you have a weak grip. You should use them if you are trying to overload your pulls or deadlift. Don’t mask your weakness improve it, it can increase performance! #weightlifting #workonyourweakness #doyouneedit

Most people that know me well know I struggle with being punctual (the first step is admitting, right?) 🤷🏻‍♀️ One of the things I love most about R+F is that it literally takes me half the amount of time to get ready in the morning because my makeup routine has been cut down tremendously... heck I don't even wear makeup half the time anymore and when I do it's just my mineral peptides powder and mascara. The Snatch and I have a love/hate relationship. It is my worst lift and but yet it’s one of my favorites to do.  I think that’s the reason why I love it; it’s complex, it’s hard, and it takes practice, which will make it all the better the day I can catch 275lbs above my head in a deep squat. Today I worked on my most significant problem with the snatch, hip mobility.

Bis and tris and dips oh my......arm day yo! Cuz I wanna be swole and stuff. 😂😂 nothing exciting but I did have to do dips and pull-ups things I can not do unassisted. I’ve tried. STRUGGLE STREET 😆😆😆 If you can’t get one pull up yet, dont worry... Keep working on your back strength and use eccentrics and soon you’ll be like me and manage a whole 2 😉😆 Set #3 of my biggest weakness... Strict pull ups. 
Training on my own meant no assistance so using eccentric reps to get some work in to help me crack that number 3.
