After 5 years with my trusty old saw frame, I've upgraded! @mrhermit very generously ordered me this gorgeous @greenlionstudios saw for our anniversary last week. My old one has been fantastic and is well worn in, but I'm loving how light and quick this new one is. Don't think I'll be redesigning my logo to match it though 😂
A cold snowy day and we are all cozy working from home. Music playing and feeling little kicks from baby Parker. It’s the best feeling. Ever. We had a bit of a scare this past week. I was feeling consistent kicks for a week long and then NOTHING for a week! We went in yesterday to make sure there is still a heartbeat and after a little wait(felt like forever) a heartbeat was found. What a relief. Thankful for this little coconut. 🤰🏼🥥💛
Trimming a curved door down to size using my bronze LN block plane. It was sticking up so high in the vise, it was hard to get the right pressure to use a regular hand plane. I wish there was any easier way to do this, but the curved door really limited me on how I could clamp it. #workbench#shoptools#finewoodworking
Getting the garage ready for the project car in the new house. This workbench was terrible with a vinyl tile top, stripped it all off, coated with flex seal and laid some stainless sheet metal for the top. Still have to paint the rest of it, I’m thinking gray? Picking up a larger kobalt tool chest soon, hopefully have the garage done and painted before it gets here. #workbench#makeover#tools#tool#projects#project#building#garage#cars#projectcar
Just finished my most stressful and difficult glue up ever, but I'm pretty happy with how it's shaping up. Finally getting around to building a proper workbench. These tops will definitely need some planing to get them flat though.
MFT getting cut today at #cranehillmachine , thanks to @drewroyalty62. Thanks to Travis @toolsbydesign for the info on the table and design available at multifunctionslab.com
I'm going to have 2 of these. Extremely mobile and compact. Can't wait to take them back to the shop and add a few extras to it. #mft#workbench#mobileworkstation
Flecks of gold or hammered brass. Pale or vivid hues. Sturdy leather or fine chain. Sparkly or unpolished. As the saying goes, opposites attract⚖️+ that’s exactly how my materials find each other at the workbench. All of my designs are created in mind to complement each other🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️ Sea Acre Road Necklaces were finished last night + are now on the website — single strand of turquoise, falling just below your chest. The brilliant blue + 1/2-inch thick druzy crystal quartz pendant painted in 24 karat magic are so striking together⚡️ Arrives shops later this week✨ www.amydigregorio.com
I'd never seen one of these tiny tools before noticing it hung on the back of my dad's workbench pegboard wall, easily overlooked. He must have thought a lot about this little handy tool because it was hung there all by itself; it looked to me something a man would have on his key chain, as my Dad always had small tools like that handy in his pockets. I particularly love the patina of this piece marked Ingersoll Rand, made by Proto and after doing a bit of research it seems they were a promotional hand out and branded with many different company logos. I don't want to put it on my key chain where it will get banged up so I think I'll make a necklace out of it. Besides, you never know when you might need to pop open a paint can or drive a screw - #rightytightyleftyloosey !
