____________________________ 🚫 FEBRUARY RESOLUTION FAIL 🍫⠀
As some of you may recall, this months resolution was to give up chocolate as I was becoming ridiculously addicted to it in January. I’d knew I was having two days off as there was no way I wasn’t going to have chocolate spread on my pancakes or no Valentine’s Day heart shaped chocolates, but since then I’ve been a little bad. As of now I’ll be back in the game 💪🏼 Lemme just finish this spoonful of Nutella 👀⠀

Last night on our leadership call, we talked about how when we fall short of what we want to achieve in life...
We create excuses..
We manage our image...
Which makes us imaginary. .
We post the highlight reel and try to project more success or create excuses to what we fell short...
And we stop growing. We stop serving others. .
The thing is we all fall short some times. Managing that imaginary image is far more exhausting and stressful than shifting our minds and actions to become better or keep going.
We have to have some humanity when it comes to our goal setting and realize that this is a process of being refined into a better version of ourselves... and when we focus on THAT... getting stronger in our minds, our bodies and our spirits, we don’t have to stress at all. We can be fearless in the pursuit of evolving. And THAT is freaking fun.
Creating excuses is always more exhausting than doing the work. Stretch yourself....you’ll be surprised and just how fearless that feels.
What's your morning routine?
I'm up at 5am feeding my mind faith and truth and love!
For over 30 days now this has been my morning routine. I notice when I read my devotionals consistently that things start to happen like when the same scripture shows up in 2 devotionals on the same day! Life seems to flow better. I notice how unexplainable coincidences appear in my life. Somehow I'm at the right place at the right time like when I'm in Kid's Club when I hadn't been scheduled and I see a former student from over 20 years ago!
All of these things give me the feeling that I'm headed in the right direction! That God is making all things work for good. I think I'll be continuing this morning routine!!
#MotivationMonday ! Remember, we all start from some where! First photo is me circa 1999. I just started riding and racing bikes! I loved the challenge of pushing myself and trying to beat all he boys! Ha! 19 years later not much has changed! My passion for riding and racing has taken me all over the world, something I only dreamed about when I was young. I am so lucky to have the support to make this dream a reality! Let's make 2018 the best year yet! 🙌🏼
And in the words of Tom Ritchey, "Positivity will get you further in this industry than race results. Remember to smile even when things didn't go as planned." #wordstoremember
Be very careful of the story you tell yourself. You can say certain things that you’ll actually start to believe that you really think that way when you haven’t even experienced it. Don’t say you don’t like something if you’ve never tried it. Don’t say that you’ve tried something 1000 times when you’ve only tried it two times. Say it as it is not worse than it is. Leading up to World Book Day on 2nd March Shucks are sharing their current books on the go. Firstly our beloved coach @foxgiven0, who dedicates so much to us at Shuck Towers he deserves a little book time ! 📖 #blackshucksrollerderby#worldbookday#wordstoremember
You tell yourself from now on and then you put whatever you want at the end of that and you keep saying it with a list of things until you start to feel it and really truly believe that from now on you are going to be the greatest thing in the world. DARE TO DO
