Je dirais que oui 👍🏻 mais pas n’importe quoi ! 🤭.

Afin de bien équilibrer les apports de vos macros, ces 2 collations devront se trouver entre deux repas à chaque fois, vous vous assurerez ainsi un flux constant de protéines, glucides et lipides.

Et elles ne sont pas réservées qu’aux tout petits 👶🏼👧🏼! Une bonne collation est un super moyen d’éviter de se tourner vers des choix malsains 🚫 ou de trop manger au repas 😱.

Vous avez pleins de choix de collation, que se soit à emporter ou chez vous (un shaker, un fruits, légumes, œufs, amandes, beurre de cacahuète, blanc de poulet/dinde, flocon d’avoine....).
🙋🏼‍♀️ Par exemple pour moi aujourd’hui sa sera carottes/ bœuf sécher et une dizaine de noisettes... oui on peut sûrement faire mieux 😂 mais c’est journée voiture alors on fait comme on peut 😉. .

Compound exercises [Bodyweight] for both 👨&👩:
1. Lateral walks
2. Burpees

If done correctly, these will 🔥 your body up, especially your CORE. Great as a finisher to a workout or to be done on their own.

Very often people think that the only bodyweight exercises which work on the core are crunches, leg lifts or Russian twists (terrible exercise btw, will be covered in future posts), or exercises that replicate those movements. THEY WILL NOT STRENGTHEN THE WHOLE OF YOUR CORE. Your core is not only made up of your "abs" and obliques (or "side abs"), they consist of muscles whose main purposes are to resist rotation and maintain tension in the trunk, to support your spine and pelvis, basically to PROVIDE STABILITY ⚠ The only way to strengthen them is to counteract rotation while maintaining tension, where compound exercises prove to be very handy in doing so.
⚠For example, in the bear crawl, when only your opposite hand and foot are in contact with the ground, your trunk will be unstable and tend to rotate. To maintain a flat back and prevent swaying from side to side, your core would have to resist rotation and maintain tension.

What are compound exercises and their benefits?
➡Exercise involves movement across multiple joints and involves multiple larger muscle groups (e.g posterior chain and core)
➡More muscle groups activated = ⬆ intensity, strength, fat burn
➡Teaches stability and activation of the core during movements
➡Functional in nature (of course, it depends on what is functional to you) as it teaches movement coordination and simultaneous/sequential muscle activation, which carries over to sports and daily activities.
➡Time efficient. Works multiple muscle groups in the shortest time possible.

Compound exercises [Bodyweight] for both 👨&👩: 1. Lateral walks 2. Burpees 3. Bear crawls If done correctly, these will 🔥 your body up, especially your CORE. Great as a finisher to a workout or to be done on their own. Difficulty: 🔥🔥🔥 ➡Details of exercises would be covered in the next post --------------------------------- Very often people think that the only bodyweight exercises which work on the core are crunches, leg lifts or Russian twists (terrible exercise btw, will be covered in future posts), or exercises that replicate those movements. THEY WILL NOT STRENGTHEN THE WHOLE OF YOUR CORE. Your core is not only made up of your "abs" and obliques (or "side abs"), they consist of muscles whose main purposes are to resist rotation and maintain tension in the trunk, to support your spine and pelvis, basically to PROVIDE STABILITY ⚠ The only way to strengthen them is to counteract rotation while maintaining tension, where compound exercises prove to be very handy in doing so. ⚠For example, in the bear crawl, when only your opposite hand and foot are in contact with the ground, your trunk will be unstable and tend to rotate. To maintain a flat back and prevent swaying from side to side, your core would have to resist rotation and maintain tension. ------------------------------------ What are compound exercises and their benefits? ➡Exercise involves movement across multiple joints and involves multiple larger muscle groups (e.g posterior chain and core) ➡More muscle groups activated = ⬆ intensity, strength, fat burn ➡Teaches stability and activation of the core during movements ➡Functional in nature (of course, it depends on what is functional to you) as it teaches movement coordination and simultaneous/sequential muscle activation, which carries over to sports and daily activities. ➡Time efficient. I’m feeling a little FLUFFY after “Refeed Day” yesterday.

But my triceps are sore.
My lats are sore.
My hamstrings are sore.

And I got to eat brownies.

So I’m ok with it.

(Refeed Day is a day built into my program that allows me to enjoy “dirty” carbs like pasta and brownies.  I had both.)
