October 15th, 2016, I honored @jeff_d_trask with the 2nd #wolfpack901 grill badge, with his dad Don (swipe left) at #coffeeandcarsenderlecenter to take part in the moment, 2nd only to @whiteknee (designer of the #912registry badge...what a small world) who was given the 1st at the #912rendezvous a few weeks earlier. Now some 150 badges in 20+ countries later, two apprentices funded, I looked at my friends car today during the post memorial service reception, and I am reminded how much he encouraged me to keep going, to make a difference - a gift of infinite proportion. We all know you took the plate with you, #no911nv but we won’t tell the DMV - #restinpeace#alwaysgiveback#vintage#porsche#912#luftgekühlt#vayacondios www.wolfpack901.com
I posted last week about the passing of my friend @jeff_d_trask; there’s a #gofundme account for his family and if you can donate, anything helps, that’d be super. Link to fundraiser is in my profile. Thank you!
Phase-1 of The Pan-American sticker exchange program is in effect. Check out @kevin.lynch profile for details on the #wolfpack901 . Great gear for a great reason. And from the frozen tundra of the East coast, my warmest thank you to Kevin. Once the ‘86 is back home we will adorn her rear quarters. Pictures will of course be taken.
Looking back on 2017, so much transition and change: new schools for some; new role for the “day job”, and great progress with #wolfpack901 as a volunteer role; new adventures and some familiar fun; new @Porsche venues and some cherished that remain; a shift in the #vintage#porsche portfolio with one add and one departure to a great new steward; new ventures & partnerships, having fun and trying to make a positive difference for people; new friends...and sadly the loss of a cherished few. At the core remains my family, the catalyst to get up every day, no matter if the prior counted as a win or loss, and keep making forward progress. I started and finished 2017 the same, just a regular guy living an irregular life. I trust you take a moment to look back, through your #2017 , to rejoice in the blessings, and learn from the experiences, and use that to make your plans for what I hope and pray is an exceptional #2018 for you all. Happy New Year from the Lynch Family
