Welp, I’ve decided to start my Whole30 this Tuesday, rather than waiting until March! 🙌🏼 I’m feeling inspired and really determined, so I figure, why wait? 🤷🏼♀️ Planning my groceries and meals has me stoked. I’m most nervous and excited to get sugar out of my system. It’s been a crutch for months, and I’m ready to be back in control of my food, rather than feeling like my food controls me. Any encouragement, tips, and personal experiences doing the Whole30 are welcome! ☺️💕🎉
What an incredible day today. I can’t give enough props to all of my lifters. The have made it so far in such a short amount of time. They’ve all only been lifting seriously for a year and to send 4 lifters to #18njc is an accomplishment to themselves and the fruition of lots of long, hard frustrating days. We went all out, pushed our numbers to the max and did the best we possibly could. Today was just a glimpse of the potential these athletes have and now it’s time to put our head down, fix the small mistakes and continue to thrive. We are proud of #L3Barbell and this won’t be our last national meet as a team. Congrats to @kylevargo_cfl3 for being our first national medalist, congrats to @sabrinaguardado_cfl3 for a 6kg meet total and placing 10th! Congrats to @nathanbaez_cfl3 who PR’d his clean and jerk and is starting to come into his own. Congrats to @ethan_millscfl3 for making A session, attempting a #PR snatch hitting a #PR clean and staying focused after not performing how he wanted on the #snatch . Ya’ll make me proud.
