For the last 3 years travel has been a major part of my life. Each trip has taught me something new about the world in which we live, but most importantly, it has and continues to teach me new things about myself whether major or minor. This trip was no different & it is why I ultimately decided to end my trip 2 weeks early, trading continuing on to Tunis (Tunisia) for a positioning flight out of London back to the states. It's a blessing to be able to wake up & decide to "just go", and equally, it's a blessing to be able to come back home, and I never want to take it for granted for any reason.🤗 __________________________________________________________ "I'm tired" was such a simple yet difficult admission. I've been on the go and traveling nearly every week since December and realized I need time to enjoy nothingness before embarking on my upcoming new chapter (moving across country, new role, figuring out the humanitarian landscape in Georgia, etc). Save for the gym and a few minor obligations, I am looking forward to doing absolutely NOTHING. Give me my fuzzy slippers, the spa, time & laughs with friends, and shameless laziness nights in. I never want any of my passions to begin to feel like chores. In a way, returning early was my way of protecting my love of and passion for travel from becoming just that. Cheers to recognizing when you've gone as far as you can go. Happy Saturday! 🌏
