Some people from the office were running the Gasparilla 8k today. I told one of them last week I would run the 8k from home in my neighborhood. I’ve been saying all week I would but deep down I knew I would be lazy and no do it. Well today I went out and said I’ll give it a go. At the first mile I was extremely hot and almost quit. But thought no I got more in me. I finished my five miles and my legs are jello the times not the best but I did it. And I’m damn proud of that. 😄

This was my picnic lunch at our little outing today .. tuna pasta cucumber & light mayo 2 Syns with a hard boiled egg 🌻☀
Got back in time as i needed to go to the shops for a few bits but oh my worst time to go when your are feeling hungry this is how my shopping trip for bread & baby milk powder went .. walks into Morrison's and straight upto the snack/sandwich section to reduced sandwiches looked and walked away .. next walks past the hot food looked and debated buying chips or some chicken bites but thought I might go back after I have what I need.. carry on and see the pack of 5 jam donuts pick up the packet walk off & then i walked back to put them back because I realised if I had 1 I'd have them all. So then down bread aisle and I seen the Morrison's chocolate mini rolls, phone out, sw app on 3.5 Syns a roll 45p for pack of 6 .. got them paid ate 1 for 3.5 Syns. Come home daughter's now eaten some & so has hubby! Super proud of my will power and only low Syns.
Bit of a boring post but just a little reminder to myself that it’s ok to big myself up and show that I’m proud of achievements! 🏅 This is my weekend of gym activity doing the cross trainer/ bike/ treadmill; on Friday I ran 2K non stop which I don’t think I’ve done since I was in school! Though it’s not a lot, it’s good going for me and I’ve travelled 12K in the gym alone; I wanted to make some of the distances longer but my legs were turning to jelly, so that can be a goal for next time. We also did some weights, skipping and core exercises and it’s safe to say I’m feeling it, but feeling good for it too!! 👏🏼 It’s the first time in a while that I’ve been to the gym three days in a row, and the first ever on a Sunday 🤫 I also opted for Vodka lemonade to drink last night though didn’t have many, and refused Chinese and Indian takeaway 😩 Will Power you will get stronger! I’ve also been on multiple dog walks, one of which being a lovely Sunday stroll with Buzz and Elmo along the seafront which was chilly but warm in the sun ☀️ Here’s to getting back into the swing of things, ready to tackle March head on! Hoping for a big loss at the end of the month 👊🏼🏋🏻♀️

Last night we went out for dinner. I ordered a steak sandwich, no bread, no fries/chips, salad on the side, sauce on the side....DID I GET THAT?....NO.
Came with fries/chips no salad. Talk about willpower to scrape the chips onto my hubby's plate & ask for the salad. Salad came covered in dressing, i ate it anyway, thought i deserved if after not cheating on even one fry/chip. #keto#willpower
