So this is where we have arrived at ... Robo-goats? Seriously though, this goat was involved in a study about the effects of humans on the animals at Logan Pass. It will be interesting to see what changes are made as the NPS attempts to find an appropriate balance between tourism and the needs of wildlife. There are no easy answers in this issue.
After a month with her first professional camera, Marlyss Brightwell went to a park to practice and captured this beautiful moment between a Muscovy Duck and its duckling. ❤️⠀
Marlyss’s photo was named one of the top 100 photos from last year’s #AudubonPhotographyAwards . The 2018 Audubon Photography Awards are now open! Click the link in our bio for more info. ⠀
We had a special visitor stop by the King Ranch Visitor Center grounds this past Tuesday evening. It's always a nice treat to see a bobcat on one of our wildlife tours, but this one decided to check out the visitor center area.
As a reminder, tomorrow we’ll hold our last half-day wildlife tour of the season. Link in bio to book.
