Greg here, from @milepostimaging, with another VisitCOS Takeover post, with one of my favorite pics from home in Cripple Creek, Colorado. This beautiful red fox lives in a den about 100 feet from my bedroom window. We often see each other in the early morning as I head off to work, but he’s rarely bothered by me. In fact, I almost think he’s asking for handouts.

Great Wildcat Canyon Hike with spectacular views this weekend led by WC member @curtnimz . Deer and bobcat sightings, along with plenty of other signs of wildlife, illustrates the importance of this wildlife habitat. Unfortunately illegal motorized use was apparent in the area as well. Wild Connections is working to protect Wildcat Canyon for wildlife, fish, water, and wilderness values. Photo @misiballard . #ourpubliclands#wildcolorado#usfs
