Red lentil pasta with a homemade tomato sauce and asparagus. Verdict: A+ on the sauce and asparagus. C on the pasta. I am learning that whole wheat pasta is my absolute favorite and that I will probably stick to that and soba noodles when it comes to pasta and stir fry dishes! It can be a bummer when the experimenting doesn’t turn out quite right, but that’s all part of the journey 😊
It is sad how short-sighted most people are when it comes to what they put in their bodies. While exercising, eating clean and avoiding chemicals that are harmful to your body will not guarantee that you will be disease-free your entire life, it will drastically lower your risk for many diseases and increase your overall vitality. #itsnotadietitsalifestyle#justeatrealfood#fitness#meditate#makehealthychoices
Mikhail is puzzled about which greens he wants this week, oh all the choices!!🌿🙈😂
Михаил сам ходит выбирать себе вкусняшки на рынок, а это дело не простое, выбор тяжелый🌿🙈😂
Хороших выходных вам друзья!!!☀️

For the salad 2 cups of romaine and 2 cups of kale chopped and mixed, 2 diced tomatoes, 1/4 cucumber sliced. For the dressing I did 1/2 Apple, 1/2 avocado, 1 lemon, bunch of cilantro and added water to desired consistency. The dressing that I didn’t use is a great dip for oil free fries! Which is what I’m planning on using them for later today. #wfpb#wholefoodplantbased#salad#sweetpotato#vegan#healthylunch#oilfree

I don't really bother with baking – because it destroys nutrients and I’m very protective of them.
Butttt, I wanted chocolate and cake!
I definitely should have found a recipe – but most of them are full of rubbish - dairy, oil, sugar.
People often refer to foods as naughty or bad. I actively discourage labelling foods like this, because it's not actually correct, foods don't misbehave - people do! However, it is important for people to understand what foods promote health, and what foods increase their risk of disease. I switch the latter to tastys = foods we know aren't good for our health but we choose to enjoy anyway.
I picked some healthy cake ingredients, whizzed up the wet ingredients, folded in the dry, baked at 180°C for 25mins, and put berries on top to reduce the sugar spike! They turned out okkk hahaha. Actually they all got eaten… mostly by mee… so they turned out pretty well.
You can turn all of your loved foods into super healthy deliciousness! A big part of my job is adapting recipes to be healthier. I've found this really helps people as it turns what they know and love into healthy goodness. Most people have a lot of cooking knowledge already, so I help to build on what you already have! You know the drill – PM to work with me.
Flour is not ideal – but woman gotta eat cake! I initially wrote girl, but I constantly have to remind myself that I went through puberty many years ago and I am fully deserving of the woman title! Everyday I’m feminising!

🇺🇸 Good evening wonderful people.
Here is a delicious nutrient-rich dinner. I always make sure to find all macronutrients on my plate.
I dont‘t have used any extra fat, and I still get on 11%.

⏩ WHICH FOODS NEED TO BE IN YOUR PANTRY OR FRIDGE EVEN IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET❔⏪⏩ COMMENT BELOW❕
💡 👉 Today's post is for all the people who are on a weekly BUDGET and can't afford fancy things like vegan meat replacements or other VEGANIZED FOODS even though you shouldn't consume them more than 2-3 times per week anyway... Nevertheless, whether you have a lot of money to spend on groceries or not these foods mentioned above should be a STAPLE on your diet❕🙌🌱
BONUS TIP: Try to buy foods like rice, beans, oats or potatoes in bulk because it is often times cheaper and try to buy your veggies and fruit FROZEN since you'll have the same or better nutrient quality as fresh ! (I have done a post where I compare FRESH VS. FROZEN in the past, check it out if you like 😉)
In my opinion CARBS are the cheapest things to buy wether on a vegan or omnivore diet since carbs should be a staple in your diet you should get them like your beans and lentils in bulk for more MONEY SAVING 💰 ! Rice, oats and potatoes are my main go to sources 💪
Nevertheless, protein sources are quite affordable in comparison to fat sources but only if you focus on WHOLE FOODS because if you get your PROTEIN only from vegan meat replacements you will have to PAY A LOT OF CASH for some protein ! Instead if you focus on staples like lentils, beans, soy 💡(don't forget that even your BUDGET CARBS have protein like oats or rice or even bread)💡 etc. as your main sources you will notice that you will have more money in your pocket while getting quality protein sources 🙌

Easy Peasy Tip: Give (non-dairy) cheese a chance! If you're like pre-plant-based-me, you really don't want anyone trash-talking cheese. Your love for cheese runs deep and giving it up pretty much seems like a dietary non-negotiable. This transition took a bit more education before I was ready for the wonderful world of non-dairy cheeses. Learning about the health challenges dairy-based cheese can bring and experiencing the very real benefits of this seemingly undesirable transition - as well as experiencing how easy it actually was to transition out! - is super helpful in understanding how this can be one of the best foods to chase out of your diet to help you feel great and better support your long term health. 🌱
This Easy Peasy Tip from The Vine is about taking a bit of time to learn about the health implications of cheese. I wanted to highlight this as an Easy Peasy topic because there a couple of timely and convenient opportunities to learn more. Check out my full post for information on a recent podcast by @physicianscommittee Dr. Neal Barnard on his groundbreaking book The Cheese Trap and an upcoming webinar on the same book presented by @forksoverknives on 2/22. Visit Plantbasedsb.com to check out the full Easy Peasy Tip complete with these details, links, and easy cheesy ideas for getting started!🌱
Make it a goal to check out one of these opportunities and try a plant-based cheese this week!🌱
Easy Peasy Tips are simple actions you can take to make small shifts towards more plant-centered eating that lead to big gains over time. When you’re making changes, it may take a few times to get your taste buds shifted to new flavors, but once you’ve rounded the bend, it’s easy peasy to enjoy!🌱
