Sometimes we spend days, and years, at times a lifetime learning about ourselves, submerged somewhere deep within our thick skins, solid bones and hollow eyes.
Those who discover that truth about themselves are considered a league above the ordinary, they are believed to have attained state of super consciousness and we minions are expected to follow suit.
Though I agree to the enormity being able to truly understand oneself, I cannot subscribe to the absolute superiority of this concept.
I think, I've discovered a part of me, if not the whole and I've not come to believe that I am the centre of the universe. It is difficult to live and breath and go about life normally with swagger, when you can unintuitively predict the course of your actions.
Actions that you cannot compromise on because you are only human and the power that comes with super consciousness to alter actions based on outcome is not yours for the taking.
Yes, those we follow have attained this state and supreme power. We can only wait for those actions, soon turning into habits, to dwindle, and by the time we are nearing obliteration, some part of our bloodstained past could fade.
But I can't wait that long. Life happens everyday, every remorseless second ticks so very slowly, that the deafening cries of the soul metamorphoses into a righteous devil, ready to liberate itself from the jaded physical embodiment.

What makes Team ChaloHoppo proud of Meghalaya?
Trip Dates: June 2 - 8, 2018 (DM your whatsapp numbers for details)
While we lament about the exploitation of nature and get concerned about global warming, certain knowledge about certain places or customs show us a path for a new beginning, and inspires us to keep faith and keep working. *
This is the practice of conserving forests in Meghalaya.
Every village in Meghalaya has a sacred grove dedicated to the forest spirit. They maintain strict rules set by the elders for these groves and no one is allowed to even pluck a leaf from these groves. *
They believe that the forest spirit protects the worshipper and punishes the invader. These groves some even 1000 years old, protects a wide variety of plant and animal species.
According to a Khasi saying a village has no identity without its sacred grove. There are almost 105 sacred groves in Meghalaya. The area of the sacred groves ranges from 0.15 hectares to 1200 hectares.
Every grove has a big stone placed where the villagers perform rituals for blessings and for thanksgiving. Let's take a bit from their lives and thank the nature for all the blessings we have been having without gratitude. Lets conserve more. 📸@chemistor

The wind whips across my face
My hair moves in its presence
The prayer flags dance to its rhythm
It's so loud, yet strangely calm
At peace with this angry world
For just this moment
I simply am. .
I'm at my peaceful best when I'm traveling. .
Can't wait to get out of my comfort zone only to achieve silence, peace and exploring a little bit of my inner self. .
