So compared to yesterday this breakfast is: same same but different. .
Same foods, different presentation (a whole avocado, 3 soft boiled eggs, a smoked mackerel fillet and fresh spinach).
Breakfast always tastes good but I enjoy it just that bit more after a workout 🤗
The weekend is around the corner and I can‘t wait for it to arrive 🙌🏼 first of all the Friday begins with a yummy breakfast so we can continue with lunch, dinner and boooom the weekend is here! Mango | Passion fruit seeds | Blueberry | hemp seeds | coconut yoghurt —> so simple but so yum 😋
GLUTEN FREE SESAME PRAWN TOAST - 2 slices of @geniusglutenfree white sliced bread
- 200g of fresh prawns
- 0.5 tsp Tamari sauce (GF Soya sauce)
- 1tsp chopped fresh ginger
- 1 small clove of garlic
- Salt and Pepper
- 0.5 tbsp of water
- 0.5 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame Seeds
Place all ingredients (except bread) in a food processor and blend to a fine paste.
Spread the prawn paste across the two slices of bread, ensuring you spread it evenly. Cover a plate with a thin layer of sesame seeds and dip the bread in the sesame seeds paste side down, to ensure the sesame seeds cover the prawn layer entirely.
Fry on both sides for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve cut into triangles with sweet chilli sauce.
GLUTEN FREE RHUBARB & CUSTARD CRUMBLE TART
Bake GF puff pastry rounds (I use @friaglutenfritt frozen puff pastry), which have been egg yolk glazed and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Prick the pastry with a fork all over to prevent it from rising too much, leaving 2cm around the edge for a crust to rise. Allow to cool.
Make a crumble topping of GF oats, butter, GF plain flour, sugar and ground almonds. Bake until golden in the oven. Allow to cool.
Poach rhubarb in a light syrup of water, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange juice. Once tender remove from the syrup. Reduce the syrup by 3/4. Pour over the rhubarb. Allow to cool.
Combine equal parts whipped cream and custard with a tsp of vanilla extract. Place in a piping bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Assemble by piping the custard cream onto the pastry. Rhubarb on top with a little of the syrup over the top. Finally sprinkle the crumble on top.

GLUTEN FREE CRISPY ONIONS.
1 medium onion finely sliced
200ml of milk
250g of GF flour
Soak the finely sliced onion in seasoned milk for a minimum of 1 hour, to remove the harshness from the onion.
Season the flour and add the onion slices to the flour in small batches, coating evenly. Don't drain the onions too much when you lift them out. The milk helps the flour to stick and form a crisp, light batter.
Fry in small batches at 180°C for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown.
Drain onto kitchen paper.
They will keep for a few days in an airtight tub once cooled, as they are not greasy at all. And they'll stay crisp! Perfect on salads, burgers or hot dogs!
Bae-GOALS. I’m so grateful that @breezygfreezy introduced me to these @bfreefoods multiseed #glutenfree#bagels . 👌🏻🍩 These are delish toasted with some 🥜 and blueberries. 🌟Pro tip: throw on a dash of cinnamon to be blown out of this world. 🌟#HappyFriday ! 😘
For us, quality is so important, and we do our best to maintain it, always 🙋♀️ Take the tomatoes we use for example - they're yellow for a reason - yes, they look pretty, but they also taste much better and complement the other flavours in our alkaline box as they're a little sweeter - even the smallest details matter 👌
I'm not normally one for snacking on these kinda bars but Matt (my boyfriend)'s mum got me this one and its 😍 Yoghurt, mango and papaya bar by @brodericksbrothers, gluten free and handmade in Ireland 🍀

I woke up wanting everything on my porridge so I had EVERYTHING on my porridge and Ive decide Jam on porridge is my new favourite combo 👈🏾 I feel like an old lady with oats instead of scones but in a good way 👵🏼
I always found it hard to find gluten free stuffing, so to find this was amazing. It taste so good ,I would highly recommend getting this.
I haven't tried out the breadcrumbs yet but it looks pretty good.
Tesco is getting better☺
I’d never seen these @tescofood oaty crunch granola bars before. Has anyone tried them? My lovely friend Vicky @when.the.kids.start.school bought them for me and I can’t wait to try them! They are going to be great for a mid morning snack at work!! Or on the go when I’m out and about in London.
🥕🍋🥚 PAD THAI | $15.70 total / 10 serves at $1.57 per serve 🥚🍋🥕
Another Friday fakeaway using up some of the last bits of veg in the fridge & freezer for the week. I was nervous making this as the last time I ordered pad Thai the kids hated it, but fortunately this was a lot milder in flavour than a standard takeaway so they both happily finished their plates.
Rice noodles $2.00
4 organic eggs $4.40
Sauce (onion, garlic, ginger, fish sauce, dates and lime lime juice) & oil $2.50
Crushed peanuts $0.30
Carrot, cabbage and frozen peas $1.50
Organic tofu $5.00
Homegrown limes FREE
I don’t cook or eat a lot of tofu as there is some talk about whether soy may be a carcinogen and has an adverse impact on our hormones. But it is a good source of plant based protein that if cooked properly, can be pretty tasty. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I do always choose an organic brand without additives (I.e firming agents). Sometimes it feels like the pool of foods we shouldn’t be eating is bigger than those we should, but we’re all (hopefully) just doing the best we can!
Happy friday😊💗 today I’m dreaming of the amazing @sweetpeapantry gluten free grainy brainy pancake mix I made a little while back, topped with caramelised bananas, rasps, peanut butter and maple syrup! I definitely need to pick up another box of this pancake mix, the best I’ve tried yet!😍⭐️
