Breakfast was slightly improvised this morning but so delicious! Basically a yoghurt jar, base is soya yoghurt mixed with 10g of @naturya blends organic fruit (basically a superfood mix) and 20g of oats. I left that to thicken and then topped it with sliced banana. Then layered the banana with more soya yoghurt and topped it all with nuts, seeds, dried berries, bee pollen and @meridianfoods pecan butter๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ surprisingly this whole jar was only 422 cals and it had 14g plant based protein. CONSCIOUS EATING. I'm that girl that orders a salad at @cheesecakefactory. ๐Ÿฅ— If you follow my IG stories, you probably already know that I eat out A LOT. (True millennial right here. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝ #whatmealprep) How do I eat out so much and still have abs? I check in with my body and ask questions! Some questions I ask myself:

1๏ธโƒฃ Have I drank enough water today? Usually the answer is "No!" so that's usually my drink of choice. 
2๏ธโƒฃ How will I feel after eating this? Will I feel happier and more lively, or will I feel sluggish, bloated, and somehow depressed? Food is medicine and since I already battle with depression, I don't need more help feeling depressed! Green, leafy vegetables will uplift you; sugary, carby, and fried foods will NOT. 
3๏ธโƒฃ How hard have I been working out this week? Do I really want to derail the 2 hours of hard work I put in at the gym today for a 5 minute impulse?
4๏ธโƒฃ What can my tastebuds/palate handle? Since starting my fitness journey, my tastebuds have cleaned up so much! Foods I once loved are now too saccharine for me to stand. ๐Ÿ˜– If I ordered wine, do I really need dessert too, or will the sweetness of the wine satisfy my cravings?
5๏ธโƒฃ Do I really want dessert? Am I even hungry enough to eat dessert? Or am I just entranced because I just saw some and it "looks pretty"?
6๏ธโƒฃ Am I being pressured to order something I'm not craving because of where I am? (For example, feeling like you "have" to try Butterbeer at Harry Potter world, eat cheesecake at The Cheesecake Factory, order a burger at McDonald's, etc.) Remember that YOU are in control of YOUR body and YOUR OWN FOOD CHOICES. No one is holding a gun to your head and making you eat crap, so get out of your own way, clean up that diet, and take personal responsibility for your own health, ladies!
