80% of people will have failed or quit on their new year's resolution by Feb 15th. Don't let that be you.Discipline is the key. Create a daily ritual. Constantly look at your goals. then stay focused and busy with them.
Success doesn't come easy. I had a patient who said "I give up because I just can't lose weight no matter what I do." So I responded by saying I can help you lose weight. Unfortunately, when I spoke about my method and what it took to lose weight and be healthier, she was not interested. She wanted to continue going out to 5 star restaurants and have 5 course meals every weekend, drink wine every night, and eat pizza a few nights per week lmao 😂 What she should have said instead is, "I want to lose weight but have never been able to fully commit myself to the plan or not willing to do what it takes." The language we use should match our actions because if there's a mismatch, one could feel helpless or like a failure. #success#weightlossgoals#successfulweightloss#feelinghelpless#weightlossfailure#weightlossfails#failtosucceed
This week's FAILS:
1. I didn't complete all my BBG workouts 2. I missed several Pilates classes 3. I hurt my back again 4. I drank too much alcohol 5. My hangovers meant I didn't make the right food choices... Um who am I kidding I had full on junk food binges! 6. Major self loathing...
Sooo... What do I do about it? This is the point where I normally would give up on myself. But I don't want to be that person anymore. I want to make myself proud.
So tomorrow is a new day and a new me, I'm going to ride through the challenges and keep looking forward. Anyone have any advice on how to get over a bad week?
