#marchmeetthemaker day 9, how it's made. I'm recycling an old photo which may be cheating, I'm not sure! This shows my painting process.
I begin with a liner which I draw with directly from the tube. This gives a light relief and a little more detail than paint alone would allow. For lettering I use paint and a brush, as this gives me better results.
When that's dry I get going with the first layer of paint, sometimes working another colour in while it's still wet to get a marble effect.
After 24 hours of drying time the paint gets heated to seal it, then it's finished!
