And, with Magic Kingdom, that's pretty much a wrap on our spring break Disneycation. We finally found the crowds today but still had a good time. We got to ride all the best rides and some of the others, and watch some shows and parades (that dragon float is my favorite ever), plus do some things we'd never done before (Muppets American history, Tom Sawyer Island, giant cookie ice cream sandwich). We stayed till after closing to ride Mine Train. I'd forgotten how fun that one is!
Overall a fantastic little vacation. I've walked over 70,000 steps in the past four days, so we're a bit tired, but happy. Tomorrow we check out Disney Springs for the first time since it isn't Downtown Disney and then head home!
I thought Trenton would have a much harder time not getting to ride the rides with his big brothers. Everything he does is just trying to keep up with them. He’s just a few inches shy of getting to jump on the big rides, which he wanted to do basket. He would say, “Mom, me need to go on that. That looks so awe-shum.” Luckily we had a few cousins around to distract him, endless bubbles and a few rides to entertain this guy. It was a magical day.
Hi Friends!!! It’s been awhile since I’ve really posted- I had every intention of instagramming our trip, but we were having so much fun that didn’t happen. (I’ll be honest, I wasn’t even sure whose backpack my phone was in half the time 😂) I do have lots of pictures and thoughts from our trip though and I can’t wait to share them here!! My dad and I also worked on some exciting things for my Kate in the Kingdom blog and I can’t wait to show them to you!! One more thing- I was at Disney last Saturday and didn’t even post my #onsaturdaysweweardisney#ootd so here it is!! Green Aliens for St. Patrick’s Day!! 💚Shops are tagged. If you made it this far, thanks for following along. I’m so thankful to have a place to share all things Disney. 💜
A super successful day at Disneyworld. The boys were incredible, patient and so happy. Jake was a trooper and Trenton found his place right on Jakes lap. Travis even had a smile on his face at the end of the day. Grateful heart tonight.
✨There are some magical moments that happen with our kids and loved ones that will stay with us forever. ✨
Exploring Pandora – World of Avatar with my family was one of those experiences for me. 🌕 We were given VIP access to Animal Kingdom for several hours before the park opened as part of the #DisneySMMC . So I took my fairy princess and watched her fly through the land of the Na’vi. 🧚🏻♀️
I wrote a helpful guide for exploring Pandora for those wondering what it’s all about. It’s up on my site now along with some other incredible pictures of this place and a specialty drink that you CANNOT miss. 🍹What’s a memorable vacation moment you’ve had with your family?
Last night we saw that these flora/lace ears (which I think should basically be called Coachella/feastival ears 😆) were back in stock at Elias & Co. in DCA (the far end where they sell the Alex and Ani near Hollywood Street). 💙🌸🧡💜🌺🌼🙃
