Unless you puke, faint or die. Keep going. Tonight's workout is the only one that has made me puke 🤢🤢🤢 and I kept going (glutton for punishment, stubborn or just stupid I guess 😂). Before the workout ever started, I said I'd be doing 3 rounds of all wallballs 😂 because I thought I'd be stuck on them the entire 6 minutes and never make it to the next move. I have a love/hate relationship with WBS.
Misfit called for FIVE 6 minute rounds of the WOD to Rx it, 3 Rounds if you were scaling. After my 3rd round I bolted straight out of the gym to the field behind the gym, stripped my shirt off and puked my guts out for a good minute telling myself that I was done. Laid out for another minute on the ground trying to cool off (I was fine, I blame the SETX humidity). I quickly regrouped telling myself that I wasn't going to just quit. I went back in and finished the last two rounds plus did extra work (thanks for those 80 GHDs Jennifer 😂). Brutal but great workouts all day! Thank you Thad, Jake and Richard for checking on me to make sure I was alright 👍👍👍.
CrossFit class #3 . Holy shit, 30 mins straight of wall balls, box jumps, then rowing every minute on the minute. I scaled appropriately so as not to die. Not gonna lie, the last row, I almost threw up. @k8jo and I collapsed under the machines while @thcolby couldn’t move off the rower. He had me worried he wasn’t breathing but refused a picture. We all can’t walk any type of incline or stair and forget getting the frozen peas at the bottom of the freezer, that required squatting so fuck that shit. I’m currently in an Epsom salt and lavender oil bath so I can walk at work tomorrow. We survived and oddly, despite the soreness.... I feel good, mentally and physically although my lungs are pretty pissed at me. Side note: I don’t know why the 6 am is “the best class” because I find the 6:30 pm class and it’s attendees pretty great. The criteria feels a little subjective and loose... as a risk manager/auditor... It is no secret that wallballs aren't my friend, they are more like the enemy that breaks you down and ruins you. This is my first day of tackling 50 wallballs each day Im at the gym to get better. Destroy what defeats you.

Nothing says welcome back to the gym at 5am on a monday morning quite like some back squatting (today felt heavy) followed by 150 wall balls for time, and then 10 minutes on the Shwinn Air Dyne to "cool down". In the end, i am not any less fit for it, and I did not die.
