being around people who find comfort in mediocrity inspired this photo. to those people they will not understand this, they will wonder why i set an ENTIRE candle on fire instead of just the wick. And that’s exactly the point behind this. So many fall into the norms society has created and does what’s EXPECTED of them, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find people who push the boundaries and don’t hold back the inner desires. The message is simple, one can either light the wick and let the flame burn slowly and very predictable... Or you can do what’s completely unexpected and light the whole thing on fire embracing everything that is happening before you. As the flame burns out of control you find comfort in the chaos, you find passion in the colors, and more importantly you find yourself in your creation. You created energy completely unique to yourself by not conforming to the norm, here is where you learn your true passion, and only when you create and act on what drives you is where you discover your inner most true self. #art
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.”

These courts are right outside my classroom. Every time I pass by them I can't help but miss the days when all I wanted to do was play ball at the park with my friends. I'm really happy w/ where I'm at in life, but there's a beauty to youth that you only truly appreciate when you're older.
