I used the tell myself the story that I didn’t go for runs because I wasn’t fast...I wasn’t built for it! I simply just didn’t enjoy it if I wasn’t chasing after a ball or if I could opt out another form of exercise.
Since moving to Sweden, I started to walk to work over riding a bike in the snow or paying for the bus. After a couple of weeks of enduring the 40 min to and from work, I was passed by one of my colleagues who had ran past me with her backpack on. I watched how she effortless ascended the 3 hills until she eventually disappeared down the path.
I made the decision right then that I wasn’t going to tell myself a story anymore and that I would make my weakness of running my strength.
It’s been 5 weeks of running over 6 km a day, including weekend trips into town. I may still be slow but I’m the girl grinding it out in the red florescent jacket.
Gratitude for such beautiful trees and time to reflect at the start and end of each day!

Everyone reacts differently to certain routines. As a former track athlete I struggled forever trying to put on muscle mass to develop stronger muscles in order to hopefully improve my performance. At the time I consume animals products and was told I needed to eat more meat, chicken, fish and to drink whey protein. Little did I know how hard it is on the body.
The intensity of my track workouts also hindered my muscle growth because of my extremely fast metabolism. I pretty much burned everything I consumed. It was exhausting and by my last year of eligibility my body was completely burnt out.
To most I had a great physique because I was so lean with some definition but I had a very low body mass according to my BMI. It was quite frustrating at the time to constantly be checking my weight because I felt the pressure of wanting to be the best I could not only for myself but for my team.
Going to meets I did feel self conscious being one of the smallest sprinters out there and I believed that I could never develop more muscle mass. I tried everything I could think of at the time that was considered "healthy". After my track days I discovered bodybuilding and veganism. They both go hand in hand. The stigma behind bodybuilding is to consume lots of meat lol. Found out you definitely don't need it. For me being a naturally petite person and not having to eat meat to grow was a surprise. I also stopped running! Lots of cardio was not going to do it.
So if you're trying to sculpt your figure lift weights! You won't get a booty from tons of cardio. It will burn fat but will also burn off everything else.
Do you know that plastic entered the food chain?
Once in the ocean, plastic slowly gets broken up into tiny pieces, so it's eaten by every kind of fish. Fishes do not decide what to eat, they just open their mouth and take what passes by in front of them. They think everything is edible in the ocean and they do not make any exception for plastic. It's estimated that every fish has at least some plastic in their body. Plastic also attracts toxic chemicals released over decades from industries. The food chain is extremely contaminated and it's a big problem for the human health.
Many fishes die also because their body remains blocked due to the plastic ingested. This is also the destiny of many birds living in the marine areas, they unconsciously eat plastic and their body suddenly stops working.
Do you want to know more about how this affects your health, the environment, and the animals? Watch @aplasticocean and @seaspiracy.

Guarda @aplasticocean e @seaspiracy.

Today I went to Harvey Beef and witnessed 18 month old cows being sent to their death. They are just like big puppies, why do we do this to them? 🐮🐶
They were terrified and knew they were going to be killed. I could see and hear their terror. All I could do was watch from a distance and observe the man on top of the truck push, hit and shout at them to get off the truck. They resisted, and would have fought for their life until their last breath. 🥀
On the kill floor, cows are shot in the head with a captive bolt gun, hungup by one leg where their throats are cut and they are skinned and gutted. SOME COWS REMAIN FULLY CONSCIOUS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS. 'They die peice by peice'...RIP to the hundreds of cows killed at Harvey Beef just today alone. And the 59 billion other animals slaughtered every year. 🐷🐮🐑🐔🐟 challenge22.com

If you feel tired, sick,
overweight, unhealthy, etc.
It’s likely due to the fact that
you’re not ingesting enough
High-Vibe Foods that are ALIVE.
and Regenerate Life.
Foods that Mother Nature
created for our wellbeing,
like wild Fruits & Vegetables.
Eating dead animal flesh,
And other extremely Low-Vibe foods
are NOT conducive to optimal health.
They are what lead us towards disease (dis-ease) in the body.
Obesity, diabetes, anxiety,
depression, and other autoimmune issues
stem from our body’s toxicity,
and inability to detoxify waste residue
from foods that our bodies have a hard time digesting, absorbing, & excreting.
No matter what issue you’re dealing with,
Take the following 3 simple steps
and watch your entire being transform.
1. Eat nothing but raw fruit and veggies till dinner time, every day.
2. Consume 1 raw fruit/veg smoothie a day. (Link in Bio for free recipes)
3. Drink 1 fresh green juice a day
This might seem a bit extreme,
but you will feel better than you
ever knew imaginable
in just a couple of weeks!
Isn’t that worth it?
I mean after all you only
get 1 chance at this whole life thing 🤔
It might look like this:
1 banana for breakfast
Smoothie for lunch
Freshly squeezed/pressed green juice for snack
When we get back to a diet of REAL,
mostly RAW Plant-Based foods,
Our bodies can recover, heal, & regenerate
themselves back into Divine Alignment with
Mother Nature 🙏🏻

This is the OG "brookie" from @valhallabakery (bakery section of @marketonsouth ) in Orlando, FL. This signature treat has a giant dark chocolate brownie base and is topped off with a delicious chocolate chunk cookie and drizzled ganache. If this is not perfection idk what is! Chocolate brownie cookie lovers...this one's for you! 😘
Today is #internationaldayofhappiness 😊 Vegan junk food makes us verrrry happy. (If you haven't checked out @thefullnelsondeptford yet, you're missing a trick 🍔) But on a more serious note, we love being part of and contributing to the vegan movement that has seen such massive growth this year! The awesome people we've met on our journey so far have been inspiring in so many ways and they've taught us that small changes or steps towards living a more ethical lifestyle are just as important, if not more so, than the big jumps. What makes you feel happiest? ✌🏼
