Another ‘epic’ adventure today. After the disastrous cycle ride I was running out of keep fit options and as the forecast was good I decided on a walk from Filey to Scarborough which I managed with no drama, all by myself! 🤓
What a lovely day. I didn’t need a coat, I packed a flask of tea and a scotch egg and got to admire some lovely sun kissed views. What more do you want on a Thursday? (Did you say “a little bit of danger please”? Well I had that too -at times the cliff edge was so close I reckon if I’d have been snap-chatting or taking selfies I’d have been down at the bottom easy🙄)
Swipe ⬅️to see the photo highlights: a ‘wind deckchair’ made out of a tree, a nice coastal view and some vegan graffiti. Oh, and one of the cliff edge just so you believe the danger bit ☠️
Truly inspirational street art 🌞
It actually makes me really happy when I see how people are trying to spread this message- it’s like a gentle reminder that you’re not alone in the lifestyle you choose. Personally, it can feel like that a lot. That I’m alone, since I am the only vegan person in my school, and I only know a few others. And it can seem hopeless at times, like no one is really becoming aware of how badly these animals are treated, and the detrimental effects of animal products on the environment and our health. So seeing this today helped me remember that people are in fact becoming more aware, even if it’s a slow process. But we will keep going!
