How I made this:
▪️Bake one potato in foil the oven (200F) for about 45 mins
▪️Lightly cook in olive oil on your stove top; black beans, frozen sweet corn, diced capsicum and halved cherry tomatoes ▪️ Add some paprika, garlic powder, chilli powder, salt and pepper ▪️ Remove the potato from the oven once cooked and slice open.
▪️ Add on the bean and veggie mix
▪️ Top with heaps of coriander and homemade vegan mayo (recipe coming soon!!) and some 🥑avocado (I forgot!)

this purple smoothie bowl packs protein, fiber, healthy fats, and looks almost too good to eat (almost)😌 • WHAT’S IN IT ⁉️
~ 1 tbsp almond butter (raw or roasted but make sure there’s no added sugars!)
~ 1 1/2 cups frozen organic cauliflower
~ 2 scoops @alohamoment vanilla protein powder
~ 3/4 cup frozen blueberries ~ 1/4 frozen avocado (increases creaminess factor 🤤)
~ 1/2 cup @newbarn unsweetened almond milk
~ 1/2 cup water ~ 1/2 tsp cinnamon 💟 BLEND for 2/3 minutes (we used @thenutribullet). TOP with cocoa nibs, goji berries, paleonola and AB swirlz 🌀

I had a major realization today. "Life is Marvelous and complicated. So there is no need to make it harder than it already is, keep things simple and only use what is needed". I realized that I am over complicating my movement by doing too much stuff. I am jumping from one movement art to the next, to the next and to the next without ever really getting good at one thing. There is no need to do this, they all deliver me to the same place anyways. So it doesnt matter what I choose Its not the art of the movement that I partically enjoy, the feelings that I feel in my body that I get from moving is what I really enjoy. I feel strong, relaxed and in control. So I am going to keep it simple from now on, Gym rings and parallete bars is what I choose for my strength training from this day forward until I feel otherwise.

The food you consume directly impacts your body, mind, and mood.
Certain foods can affect our body’s ph levels making us more acidic as opposed to alkaline.
Cancer thrives in acidic environments therefore we should focus on eating more alkaline foods/juices.
Acidic foods also contribute to lowering your blood ph. When we have acidic blood it prevents oxygen from reaching the cells properly which can inhibit proper cell function. When cells aren’t functioning properly they aren’t delivering oxygen to our organs properly. See the dilemma here!?
Now, it is said that a healthy balanced diet consists of 80% alkaline foods and 20% acidic. However the standard North American diet is dominated by highly acidic foods. Acidic foods are not what you may think (things that taste sour like lemons and grapefruit etc)

I chose a plant based diet because I couldn’t stand how the animals were treated but there are so many health benefits and environmental benefits to making the switch. I haven’t lost ANY strength, stamina, or muscle mass by being on a plant based diet! In fact, I noticed I have MORE stamina and I recover way faster from my workouts! I’ve seen even the most intense meat eating and meat loving people switch to plant based and see such incredible results (my mom and step dad😍)and I know you can too.
