Honeycomb pie with a matchstick/french fry border 😂 It took me foreverrrrr to make this lid - I had to freeze the dough in between each segment I cut out so that I didn't break the little lines in between - they were so fragile! I filled it with Braeburns & macerated strawberries (basically sugar coated strawbs but you let them soak so they release all their juices!) I'm pretty nervous the border is going to melt away in the oven 😩

Captain America/4th July/Spiral Macarons - I don’t even know what to call these! This is such a fun, but painstaking technique - it takes a good 15m to pipe one tray! I wish all the circles were perfectly even but it’s virtually impossible to do - my OCD will have to ignore this one 😂 I filled them with vanilla cream and melted chocolate (using my new fave piping tip of course 😍) What colours should I try next?!
Omg the best dessert I’ve ever, ever made or even tasted up tomorrow. Gold kinder egg on meringue nest with Ben & jerrys ice cream, bashed nuts, kinder bueno & raspberry coulis. Encased in a white & milk choc ball that gets melted by hot caramel sauce. Brb in a food coma!
Did you know @xanaduwines do a 3 course lunch for only $60? Their food is amazing and they source herbs from their own garden. This beef was tender and delicious, a serious contender for one of my favourite dishes!
