This is my favorite way to do weighted #dips now. This is easier on my balky #shoulder . As I descend further down the band shortens and gets easier, so there's less strain at the most vulnerable part of the dip, and the resistance increases as I press upward, overloading my #triceps at the top. Also, Wow am I #pale .
I was not an upper body workout kinda gal until an inactive quad forced me to change up my workouts.It’s only been a few months but I love to see the progress and definition come through. Now I look forward to working out my arms and back! 💪🏽It’s always a work in progress and with consistency I’ll look forward to the day that I’ll be able to do more than 2 unassisted pull-ups!

I’m allll about supersets - in fact, my next CPT Fit Guide consists primarily of them (hint hint). For this workout, superset, meaning alternate, between exercises 1 & 2 for 3 rounds. Do the same for exercises 3 & 4, and 5 & 6. For the finishing exercises 7 & 8, do one set of each to failure. In other words, until your arms fall off and you have trouble taking your clothes off when you shower afterwards. 🤗⠀

Banded dip machine -
When you stack out all the machines in commercial gyms, you have to get inventive! Banded dip machine, was a nice finisher. I’m all for making movements as hard as possible. This definitely works them hard! -

After a heavy weekend running and working out was the last thing I wanted to do today. Getting out of bed was such an effort let alone anything else, but I wanted to do it and knew I would be unhappy if I didn't go. So what seemed like a slow and sluggish run turned out to be a really good one. Got to the gym and did my chest and triceps work out, which felt very comfortable and even went up weights in some workouts. But then upon leaving the gym I realised the weekend had caught up with me and I had crashed. So there was no chance I was running home.
