In a previous post you may have noticed a picture of a 'message stick'. A message stick is a form of communication used by Aboriginal Australians to communicate between different tribes/language groups . On it would be etched messages and information.
I feel like my book is my 'message stick' to my son and in it is etched the story about how much I love him.

This gorgeous wig is given by Arda Wigs and I still and will always love it ! Comfy and natural ! 😚 I love weathering so much, that so I choose a badass version of an alternative story, what if the humains won, what if everything turned wrong etc. The design isn't set yet, the drawings are just an accumulation of ideas : Pushing the weathering, tribe-ish, post apocalypsic, voodoo, hippie, Horizon, Vikings, Maya, Hannah Alexander... many sources enriched small details in this idea still in development.
Many details are gathered by my family, friends, followers and myself from Mali, Benin, Germany, Mexico, Bolivia, France, Brazil, Spain... I want to upcycle as much as possible, and succeded nearly on everything ! ♡ ---> If you read this, help me complete the list of donators !
This is definitely not a #fitspo post but I am so glad that I took these little clips on my phone of me and my son cleaning up some of the damage from cyclone Marcus.
Doing this and especially watching it back made me realise just how important my time with this little guy is. He is growing up so fast and if I blink I will miss it. Words are nothing without our actions to back it up and leading by example is priceless for our children!
There are many negative things that will happen in life that is out of our control but when they happen like this cyclone the question is “where is the good in this?”. I have found mine in the connection with my son!
Be safe Darwin, let’s clean up this city together!🙌🏼
I want to wish my wonderful mentor @missvonfrankenstein a very happy 30th birthday!! 🎂🎈🎁🎉

Nyepi | New Years | Bali Style
I picked up a backpacker (or 2) on a flight recently to stay with @jonny.cann and me for a few days (@laurencorrine might say this is ‘On brand.’).. laying all together with heads resting on each others’ bellies, Star Gazing... a volunteer watchman knocked on our door and asked us to turn out our kitchen light as “It’s Nyepi. No lights.” Silently we all took a moment to be grateful and feel small. I didn’t take this starry pic (#becauseiPhone ) But it’s exactly what we saw last night.
The Balinese are Masters of Ceremony and one of the most creative and connected cultures I’ve ever encountered.
The night before Nyepi (New Years Eve), every group, Family and village parades the ugliest and scariest sculptures (which they have spent weeks/months hand crafting) around the streets creating AS MUCH NOISE AS POSSIBLE to scare away the evil spirits. The next day, everyone is LEGALLY required to stay inside, not use any lights or make any sounds, as to send a message the spirits, “No one is here, the island is abandoned, there is no need to bother us.”
Back in September I met the ultimate Boss Babe who would not only teach me how to work my angles haha (although I’m totally still a work in progress) but she’d go on to become my business bestie.
Within 6 incredible months we’d launch a course together, build a membership site and host our first European event ❤️ Literally so proud of everything we have achieved so far girl. We’ve created a place for ambitious women to connect with each other, grow personally and professionally and build their empires and there is so much more planned💁🏼♀️💁🏻♀️ Here’s to being better together and no sandbagging in 2018. 🍾🥂
