My little tip to my students especially those new to yoga.. #focus on the movement of your own body in your group practice and learn to ignore others and how they move. Centre your practice to your own self. Bring your awareness to your own body. #enjoy your time on your mat. Each visit to your mat will be different... You will feel different. Don't put pressure on yourself and if you need to walk away from your mat and come back when you are ready then do that. It's to be enjoyed and that's the key to why we love to practice #❤
"Stop walking through the world looking for confirmation that you don't belong. You will always find it because you've made that your mission. Stop scoring people's faces for evidence that you're not enough. You will always find it because you've made that your goal. True belonging and self-worth are not goods; we don't negotiate their value with the world. The truth about who we are lives in our hearts. Our call to courage is to protect our Wild Heart against constant evaluation, especially our own. No one belongs here more than you."

"Move the joints a little every day. You have to find your own tricks. Bury your mind deep in your heart and watch the body move by itself." ~ Sri Dharma Mittra ... Move with us today! We offer a Dharma Yoga Basic Class at 5 p.m. w.Nico, a Dynamic Flow at 6.30 p.m. w.Hélène and Yin-Yang Yoga w.Julia at 8.30 p.m. ... Cu on the mat! ;)
Why do I do yoga? When I started this journey it was intentional, I didn’t stumble on the practice by chance. Where that intention came from is still a mystery to me. I often find that people who practice yoga do it because they need some sort of change: if you are hurting, you want to heal... if you are broken, you want to be whole... if you are sad, you want to be happy... I’ve heard so many stories and I was no different. I started because I needed to change, to release, to flow, to grow! The couple of hours of yoga I did everyday eventually turned into a way of life and it feels like I’ve come home. Today I practice simply because it makes me happy. I show up on the mat everyday because I still have work to do and this is how I become the version of me that I want to be. Sane, happy and imperfect!
"We’re wearing masks, carved of our skin, frail glass to shroud ourselves within." - Who We Show, Echo Chamber EP
In her recent book, Braving The Wilderness, @brenebrown speaks about the Echo Chmaber. She speaks about how we are becoming a more fragmented society. And that despite the internet’s power to connect us, many people feel alone.
Why? She argues it’s because we don’t truly share ourselves with each other. Because we don’t truly get what we crave, authentic connection.
Connection only comes by letting ourselves be seen. By standing there and declaring, “This is me!” Not by trying to bend ourselves to fit in to some group or another, but rather, by embracing our uniqueness.
My challenge to you is, can you do this? Can you shatter your mask and risk being seen today? What happens if you fall? Oh my dear, what happens if you fly?
This place. Wow. 😍 I wanted to take a couple of days before our retreat to spend some time alone. I couldn’t make up my mind of where to go and what to do but then at the last minute I decided to come here... It never ceases to amaze me how when I follow my gut I am always led to exactly what I need. 💙

|| CLASS PLANNING || Taking time out to iron out some kinks as I plan some *new* classes 🧘🏼♀️💕 Gate pose and me are having a moment lately 👯♀️, not sure why but I’m all about those side stretches lately✨ Parighasana/Gate is said to help with respiratory problems usually associated with asthma, allergies, colds, and flu etc... and considering my breathing is a bit ‘meh’ (hello asthma and hay fever!) in Sydney, then maybe that’s why I’m drawn to this pose right now 🧐 🙏🏼✨
These humpback whales travel only as fast as 3 to 5 miles an hour, and yet they make an incredible journey from Alaska to Maui and back to mate, reproduce, and nurse. During this process of many months, they don’t eat a thing, rather they survive only on their blubber reserves. ✨These beautiful creatures remind me to slow down, see that I have everything I need, and know that I am on my path.
My website is finally published!!
I am SO excited to share my biggest project with you guys. While I still have a lot more I want to add, I have 3 Sport Yoga videos, 6 blogs and a page about me on there for you all.
This has taken me the past 2 months, and I am finally sharing it with you.
The site is easier to navigate and read when viewed on a computer rather than a phone, just a little heads up 💛💛

Love you all! Enjoy!! www.namastamyoga.com
Hey I’m Katie B with this weeks #b_inspired#mantra : It comes back around
I think a lot of times the negative things that happen to us, it’s hard to see the bigger picture of why it’s happening. But if you look back 5, 10 years later, even a little bit less than that. You can start to see that that had to happen for you to get to where you are right now. Put a little bit more trust in this week and just trust that everything will come back around. Say it with me, it comes back around.
here I go, on my biggest adventure yet. 30 days, one duffel bag and one backpack... follow along as I share my experience with you; the uncertainties, discoveries and revelations that are sure to come. I’m as ready as I’ve ever been ✈️ #linkinbio#travelwithme#solotravel#traveldiary
