A 12 car Royal Mail train consisting of class 325 009, 325 005, 325 011 passing through the now very light and beautiful Carlisle citadel station working 1M44 Sheildmuir Mail Terminal to Warrington Royal Mail Terminal.
This loco seems to be my in thing at the moment but here’s Colas Rails Class 70 814 oh hire to GBRf for testing on biomass hoppers to Drax from Tyne Coal terminal Great to see something differant down my local DCL. Lots of people out to see this!
Absolutely loving the Colas Rail class 70 814 on hire to GBRf for testing on Coal Services, really brightens a few of my photos. Here we see Direct Rail Services class 88 004 “Pandora” working the 461P Daventry DRS to Mossend Euroterminal with northern rails class 142 096 having just come from Hexham.
Really blooming’ annoying how my phone camera was the wrong way round and I’m stuck with the green bridge handrail in my photo but what a lovely sunset over the Durham Coastline with what I was hoping to be 66789 however 66776 rolled on by working 0N01 Doncaster to tyne dock light engine.
This colas Class 70 814 definitely brightened up my photos yet at a very bright Carlilse station now the roof has been finished. Freightliners Class 66 420 And 66 596 pass through the station working Carlilse NY to Leeds balm road yesterday.
The sky was on fire last-night across the north west in Carlisle Citadel station now the all of the scaffolding has been removed. It’s such a lit up place great for photos. Virgin Trains Class 390 147 working from Edinburgh Waverley to London Euston And transpennine express class 350 409 working a service to Glasgow Central from Manchester Airport.
Such a beautiful place now all the scaffolding has been taken down and the roof has been finished. Here is Colas Rails Class 70 814 stabled, awaiting a driver from GBRf as they’re testing out the use of a 70 on Coal services. Transpennine express class 350 406, delayed by 27 mins due to having no driver! Virgin trains class 390 008 pulling in from Glasgow in the new livery with a moustache!
GWR’s Class 800 *** “Michael Bond” in a rather fitting, London Paddington station with a service to Reading after the cleaners had finished. My first time seeing these in public action so jumped aboard and had a walk through. Nothing on the HSTs!
Poor quality but here’s 156 463 pulling into Hartlepool on the tight curve working a service that should have been From whitby but because of a bridge strike there’s are bus replacement services after Middlesbrough
Something a little different here at Tees Yard wagon repair depot, operated and ran by DB uk with a couple of people hard at work. Here are a load of flatbeds and a couple of EWS Coal hoppers in for wheel replacements. Many many wagons will roll through this depot from Tees yard, however many are due to be scrapped.
Transpennine express class 185 138 seen here at Thornaby Railway Station back in summer last year having just took a 5 minuet journey past Tees NY from it’s starting point at Middlesbrough before continuing to Manchester Airport. These services are due to be replaced with a couple of 68s next year as well as the Scarborough services!
Turned up on the off chance before the rain started and luckily I caught Chiltern railways class 68 015 just before heading off to the depot. This loco is on hire from DRS for peak time services between London Marylebone and Birmingham moor street.
