It's a whopping 18° outside, ❄️❄️❄️ and I not only needed to warm up, 🌡️🔥 but I needed something for M4 - stat. (Slight oversight on yesterday's #tiumealprepsunday ! 🤭🤫🙊) I call these minis "Blondies Have More Fun," because, let's be honest, we do! 💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️💁🏼♀️😁😁😁 I modified the TIU Blondie Muffin recipe just a bit with the addition of a few more fun ingredients (hence the name). 🍫 🍌 🍫🍌🍫🍌 Here's my version - the asterisks indicate my modifications:
1 15-oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
** 1 banana **
** ½ c. creamy peanut butter **
¼ c. pure maple syrup
** 1 tsp. vanilla extract **
** 2 scoops vanilla TIU protein **
½ tsp. Himalayan pink salt
¼ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
** 24 dark chocolate chips **
Preheat oven to 350°. 🔷 Lightly coat mini muffin tin with cooking spray. 🔶 Blend chickpeas, banana, peanut butter, syrup, and vanilla in food processor until smooth. 🔷 Add protein, salt, baking powder, and baking soda; stir until well combined. 🔶 Bake 10-15 minutes (mine took 12:15 exactly), or until edges of muffins are golden brown. 🔷 Remove from tin and press one dark chocolate chip into center of each muffin. 🔶 Enjoy!

Yoga this@morning and barre this evening. Do you ever have different instructors Target the same area by coincidence? Ending the week with a very sore tushy after a week full of resistance tubes and booty clams.
This has been the LONGEST Sunday in the best way. 😍8am 5k run (so proud of myself for gettin’ it in! ), followed by brunch with friends and their babies, puppy training class, errands, then date night with these @beyondmeat burgers (which are straight out of this 🌎, so good), wine, and now a family snuggle sess (we’re still obsessed with our couch and pup) & Olympics because somehow it’s only 8pm!
Spicey Superfood Hot Chocolate ☕️🍫
Sorry I don’t measure #nobodysgottimeforthat — but the recipe is something along the lines of this:
1 cup of (nut) milk
Splash of water
- simmer on stove
Add a tsp or so of plain cocoa
1/2 tsp cacao & 1/4 tsp maca
A dash of pink Himalayan sea salt
A pinch of Vanilla
A pinch of cayenne (small pinch)
Dash of agave
Stevia to taste

2 chlorella dots
Either frozen pineapple, mango, or blueberries. Usually blueberry is my favorite.
2 frozen coconut chunks
1 cup coconut milk
1 scoop @toneitup Protein
And I’ll usually add anything from hemp seeds, coconut flakes, flax, chia seeds, etc. I add superfood powders too. Depends what I’m in the mood for. Save that for another post 😘✌🏼
Post super bowl thoughts... 💭 I truly believe that when you are at a mentally healthy place on your health & wellness journey “cheat meals” don’t exist because life is about balance, and you aren’t cheating on anything because you aren’t “dieting” ⚖️ Health encompasses body, mind and soul and all three need to be taken care of equally in order to succeed long term 🙏🏻🥦💪🏼🧠When you genuinely love your body and treat it well you crave healthy foods and they become the norm in daily life. But, on a day like Super Bowl Sunday, you might be around a few indulgent food items you don’t normally eat 🍔🍟🍕It is in these moments that you actually understand balance and moderation and remember that what is important is what you do MOST of the time, not SOMETIMES. So indulging a moderate amount is really not a big deal, because the next day you get up and get right back to life as you know it... you complete your normal workout, you eat the healthy foods you have prepped and you drink some water and life goes on 💁🏼♀️ When you reach this point, life is SOO much more enjoyable and less time is wasted having anxiety about food or beating yourself for something you can’t take back/change. So if you did happen to indulge more than you would have liked yesterday, focus less on the food, more on the company you were with and the fun you had, and get back into routine today! Chose to prep easy meals this week. I had a lot of projects at home this weekend, and wanted to watch the super commercials. What was your favorite? Mine was The Dorito/Mountain Dew commercial. Proof that Tyrion Lannister is a Targaryen!
