Happy Monday! We are celebrating family day in most of Canada today so happy family day to my fellow #tiucanada girls! Hadley was thrown off her schedule a bit yesterday and ended up waking in the night last night around 2 to eat. She didn’t go back down til 4 so my plans for a bootycall did not happen! I slept in instead while hubby got up with her this morning. We were actually able to have breakfast together once I got up and Hadley went back down for a nap. The famjam came for a visit today too which was so lovely! BUT I have goals this week, and workouts scheduled, so I got in my workout this afternoon. 🙌🏼 .

Meals have been much cleaner today, thank goodness, but weren’t quite the lcg that I wanted. Going to be much more focused on that this week- I’m excited to feel a bit better with less bloat in a few days.
M1: scrambled eggs, steak and whole wheat toast with a lime Perrier 🙌🏼
M2: chocolate beet muffin + square bar
M3: crockpot beef, carrots and just a few potatoes (post-workout)
M4: chicken breast and roasted broccoli .

My favorite breakfast. I make a big batch and reheat it all week long (but add fresh tomatoes and avocado each day). This week I roasted sweet potato cubes and sautéed red onion, garlic, zucchini, red chard, red dandelion greens, and spicy chicken sausage and topped it with nutritional yeast. 😋 I also made a double batch of Blondie muffins and enjoyed those for M2!
This morning I did Buns & Biceps and the #tiupushupchallenge on #studiotoneitup . I’ve made so much progress on my pushups over the past year, but also have a lot of room to improve, so the challenge was fun! I also decided to restart the @actionjacquelyn #getupsidedown course and finally dedicate myself to doing it completely over the next month. I practice the inversions almost every day, but want to see where I can improve by doing the course all the way through. So Day 1 done! My handstand max was only 24 seconds after that push-up challenge, though. I’ll also throw in TIU studio workouts when I can as well! @Toneitup #tiuteam#tiumom#tiucheckin#tiusocal#tiuflexweek
So the current situation with my neck and shoulders is that I’m on some pretty fun muscle relaxants and t3’s...so needless to say, I can’t really partake in flex week on the #studiotoneitup app! That doesn’t mean I quit tho! Today I’m thankful for the on demand section and I chose some flow and booty band work, felt great! My one shoulder is a bit sore from all the downward dogging but otherwise, feelin good! Beast mode today with my little helper by my side ☺️🤗 We 🛒 food shopped bright and early, cleaned the house 🏡, did laundry, 🥘 meal prepped, and we played in between. Lorenzo’s imagination is in full swing. He’s also at the age where he can be SO helpful and independent. My heart is full and I LOVE long weekends. One major thing I’ve learned since joining @toneitupnutrition is to really take notice of superfoods and eating with a purpose. Now I can’t live without these babies 👆🏻 especially the cocoa nibs 🤤.
I added a healthy dose of all three on top of my smoothie after a grumpy frustrated Monday morning wo 😾. It just wasn’t my day but I showed up and got it done and I’m excited brave the cold windy day to get more grocery shopping done. .

Having two is definitely trickier because trying to get them on the same schedule for just about anything is near impossible. But we make do 🙈.
Its important to carve out time for the things that are important. Trying to find extra time just isnt realistic but making time for your priorities is more than possible!
Never miss a Monday!!! Finally got my workout done after a productive morning of meal prepping, yard work, and a long family walk!
Some may ask why i workout when I’m pregnant but I ask why not? Working out to me is my therapy and if 30 minutes a day helps with my sanity and mental clarity I am going to make it happen!
Starting off the week with a good sweat sets the mood for the rest of the week! Give yourself a cheap therapy session and just go sweat it out!! 💪🏻

I could celebrate just over THAT.
Baby girls heart beat was loud, fast & strong. My incision from my little procedure/bump in the road is finally healed.
Next stop: glucose tolerance test 🍩 & biweekly appointments! (Means we are getting closer!!!)

It’s crucial for me to plan meals for the week... not because I believe in rules, but because it helps me stay on track without having to calorie count or obsess. 🌿

Happy Monday babes!! This #tiuloveyourbody has been one of the most motivating challenges I have been a part of ... I have seen amazing dedication from so many strong women. I have worked out harder, been supported to push my out side my comfort and have found an inner strength and physical strength I never knew I had .... carrying on everything I’ve learn this challenge and carrying on through the next few weeks ! I was feeling especially grateful this morning that I didn’t have to rush out the door to get to work. I feel so thankful to have a job that lets me take my time, relax a little (probably too much! 😜) and start the morning a little slower than I would have in the past.

Super quick workout this morning but it’s done! I had plans to run outside but the rain threw a wrench in that! I’m still deciding on what I want to try next (#whole30 🤷🏾♀️) I’ve been a #tiugirl for a while now, but this was my first time creating a TIU account and really joining the community. What a difference! It’s probably one of the best choices I’ve made so far in 2018. The community makes this EASIER, MORE FUN, and MORE SUSTAINABLE. During this challenge, I lost about 4 lbs. I feel so much stronger and more toned. I wish I had taken official before pictures but I didn’t. ☹️ the difference is clear to me though 💪🏾.
