I have been waiting to visit the National Bank of Romania for some two years now, ever since my equally avid-for-culture parents went and gave their thumbs up. But I didn’t expect to be so impressed with the interiors of this long-withstanding institution established in 1880 and the 1h tour itself, which is entirely FREE as long as you make an appointment in advance via their website/ email at bnr.ro (also available in English). Built in eclectic style from the late 19th century using the blueprints of French architects Cassien Bernard and Albert Galleron, of Opera Garnier (Paris) and Romanian Athenaeum fame, this Marble Hall here was initially used for bank operations. Clearly times have drastically changed 😲
After this tour, which included a fabulous numismatic exhibit, this just went up in my top five favorite buildings and #museumsofbucharest . Did you know you can visit this bank?

Hidden corners of London 😍
I'm on a study today. So far I've ticked off two-thirds of my to-do list, so I'm going to reward myself by curling up with my book and a bowl of homemade Saag Aloo for half an hour ❤
Happy Wednesday all! We’re soon to release a new website with all our lovely crockery to hire 🙌🏻 Quite the Yonder collection built over the last few years so excited to share it with you soon #yondercollective
Happy hump day friends 🐫 I'm off to Florence today and it's going to be 14 degrees 😎 I'm not going to know what hit me. There won't be much time for exploring but I want to take in some of the amazing rooftop vibes and of course truffle pasta 🍝 Until then, here's a photo of that green staircase at @thehoxtonhotel in Paris; my last city break almost two months ago 😳
Good morning from Paris 🇫🇷! I’ve been enjoying a lazy morning of coffee in our comfy bed @thehoxtonhotel ☕️ and honestly I’m not sure I even want to get up. Switching off from the daily grind has felt so incredibly wonderful. Also dipping in and out of cafés all day might need to become my new full time job. After all, I always did want to live in the city of light 💫.
We're spending a few days in Naples & the Amalfi Coast next week. Looking forward to pizza, pasta & La Dolce Vita 🍋🌿☕️ > Do you guys have any special recommendations - must try food places & must sees? Any tips are highly appreciated 🙃🙌🏼 #napoli#amalficoast#campania#vacationmood#acanthusmagazine

Bath is a beautiful city located in the rolling hills of Somerset in the south west of England. It is a very popular city to visit and is known for it's Georgian architecture, the beautiful medieval abbey and the great bath at the Roman baths both pictured in this image. It is also popular with Jane Austen fans as she lived here during regency times and set two of her novels in Bath. You can visit the Jane Austen centre and the attached Regency tearooms. Bath really deserves 2 days, it is wonderful city to walk in the early evening once the crowds have gone but if you don't have that much time you can also do it as a day trip from London.
