Ripple effects get bigger with time. You might be shocked when a few months or years down the road you see the impact of your little actions.
This past week I had two significant moments that reminded of this - one was during the weekly Pig Save vigil in Burlington; a woman came up to me to let me know she had purchased one of the shirts from my "Support Sanctuaries NOT Slaughterhouses" fundraiser and while wearing it had sparked a conversation with a friend who was now trying to go vegan. Another moment happened this weekend during a protest when an activist I greatly admire and respect told me they first felt the call to get active as a direct result of a video I had shared.
Both of these things I almost didn't do because I thought "what's the point? what good can it do, really?" Little actions. Big effects. Create vegans. Nurture activists. Let's make shift happen. <3
Kedassia Poultry Ltd., Hackney Wick 🌹 I still post about vigils I attended five or six months ago. We couldn’t save them all and I guess the very least we have left to do for them is to tirelessly share their stories, to add their little souls to the fire in the belly of this fight for total liberation ✊🔥 each truck to pull in to a slaughterhouse is a punch in the face and a stab in the heart. This doesn’t have to happen 🕊 @eastlondonchickensave @thesavemovement
sunny skies for these activists today at our weekly Monday vigil but not for the babies that are being brought here to Maple Lodge Farms. Join us Wednesday at Maple Leaf 💖 Find more info on our Facebook page!
Activism in the snow 🌱💚❄️
Can you imagine the impact that we could have if every vegan was an activist? The amount of seeds that we could plant? 🌱
Speak up and get active 🐷🐮🐰🐺🦊🐴
Last night, we celebrated the first vigil of Mataró Animal Save with the collaboration of Barcelona Animal Save. One of the most intense vigils I've ever had. 30 united activists said goodbye to animals, and we recorded them so that people could see their suffering. Together me and a partner managed to rescue 2 precious chickens. Chickens that will now live free and can be happy together in a sanctuary.
We must never fail to speak up for the animals in our communities - how are you advocating for them today? 💙🙏🏼

It is minus 1 this morning and these babies have been taken from their heated barns and thrown on to a lorry destined to slaughter.
They probably have never known such cold.
On the trucks they shiver. Their weak bodies struggling to fight.
It doesn't have to be this way. By choosing veganism you stop condoning this cruelty.
Message us if you have any questions!
We will be at C&K Meats on Monday to bear witness to pigs as they head to be gassed.
We hope to see you there as we share their stories 💕🌿
Activists supporting each other as they bear witness to animals headed to market 💔
#Repost from @veganmama_katherine ... @lee_stewart18 captured this photo today and I'm so glad he did, to show empathy and express your sadness is considered weak, it's not, many of us hurt every single day and as you can see, bearing witness to these animals became too much for me at points, I just feel so heartbroken. The people who attend these vigils are the most amazing, compassionate, gentle souls who's passion and drive inspires me everyday. Thank you to EVERYONE who's ever supported my vegan activism, who's helped me, who's held me while I've cried. Thank you to my amazing partner too, he's always encouraged me to fight for what I believe in. So much love for all of you 💕@beng91 @norwichlivestockmktanimalsave
Da vigilia que fizemos ontem.
Todos esses animais foram abatidos nessa madrugada.
Ovelhinhas bebes, vacas, bezerros, galinhas.
Final attempt at freedom and fresh air left this poor baby’s neck stuck in the hole of their prison cell for god knows how long, hours maybe days. The chickens we saw last night were in the worst conditions I have ever seen, the majority were almost totally featherless and red raw with ammonia burns from being forced to live and sleep in their own waste. We managed to rescue 2 of them but let’s not forget the other hundreds who were murdered last night, dismembered and packaged in a supermarket today. Please consider going vegan, for them. Thank you all for sharing their stories, I truly hope that they reach people and open their hearts and minds.
i met these little ones today. they are dead now. they were only 1 year old.
as i was attempting to get some footage of the horrible state and conditions they were in while simultaneously trying not to get bounced off the truck walls due to the immense side to side thrusting of the vehicle, i looked at the black calf's eyes and i was struck by a thought that i had not even welcomed in the first place. he resembled my dog. the way his ears reacted to every sound and how he sometimes would reach for our hands through the openings of the truck walls, his black fur and brown eyes, they reminded me of someone i put above some members of my own family.
and now he's gone. him and his little companion on a ride with no return, who was so scared he wouldn't dare to move an inch, eyes darting everywhere, wide open. after 3 minutes they were off to their death.
these animals are innocent. absolutely clueless of their fate, not knowing that the day of their death had been assigned to them from the moment they were born.
our lifestyle, especially our food choices, are the culprits responsible for the torture and death of child-like beings like these two. they are a by-product of the dairy industry. no piece of coagulated breast milk is worth the death of billions of sentient beings. there is no moral justification for the atrocities committed against animals who we so proudly claim to love. we are a nation of animal lovers - we just need to align our thoughts with our reality.
if you need any information on how to go vegan i am wholeheartedly available to give you the tools that can get you started. my DMs are open. please don't support this vile, cruel industry. if you are already vegan and don't know how to get started with activism, i am glad to help aswell.
the bullies and the brutes haven been Goliath. but David is coming.
rest in peace. i'm sorry.
This first picture was taken by @savingmevegan in Manchester at a slaughterhouse, inside the trailers are 6 month old pigs, the same age I was at the time.
Unlike the pigs I got to go home and live my life, go on adventures, make friends, play. These pigs? They went inside and were gassed, they ended up somewhere on someone’s plate for a meal they will have since forgotten about. Pigs are intelligent, playful and curious animals, just like me. Why do I get to live when they must suffer? When we can simply eat something else? Look at the second picture, their fate is decided by you. Please don’t buy dead animals, live with compassion. Live vegan, get active and speak up for all animals. .
When the weather is warmer I will be back with my pals at vigils for @thesavemovement again, vegan or not attend a vigil near you, speak up for the animals who need you 🐷💛🐶
