I have high hopes for this world. Currently, we as a species haven't even scratched the surface of our vast potentials. Yet, there is still so much essential work to achieve betterment.
On the contrary, we are also the most destructive of a kind, we allow the ego to run wild, we allow greed and power to fuel motivation, we allow materialistic consumption until there's no ends to it.
Maybe, with our progression, I'm sure it's already in development and happening, we will depend on science to preserve our species. But do we really think we are indisposable? Do we really think we won't perish alike to the many lost ancient civilisations? Maybe we think we are more advanced? But I highly doubt that, there is a certain mystery to lost civilisations, leading to countless of unanswered questions. They had access to technology beyond our capabilities, let's be real, studies and research have shown we are not capable, even with our modern technology, to replicate the Egyptian pyramids. This speaks volume itself. My intention here isn't to dwell on the negativity but to look at all aspects of the circle. We have to face certain truths, regardless how ugly they may be.
I have always resonated with the existence of Atlantis and Lemuria, lost somewhere in the greatest depths of the Ocean, but their storyline is still depicted in our current modern civilisation's theme. We are not exclusively exempted, no, because we are part of the cycle of karma, whether we like it or not. If we paid more attention to the occurrences of the past, abstract the lessons and themes, we have a better chance of improving our future prospects. As the saying goes, history repeats itself.
I spent 6 years studying Accounting and Intentional Business at University but I've always been drawn to archaeological, mythological, metaphysical, esoteric, astrological, psychological, philosophical, historical and spiritual studies, these are some of the many fields I should have pursued. There's a burning desire to gain more knowledge, more understanding and spread awareness through education. My next chapter awaits. - L.H 🌬️
